So my buying was drastically reduced, and even my renting slowed due to a project at work and general burn-out with DVDs. In other words, I have become much more selective in what I watch. This extends to the point that even from my favorite directors I'm mostly renting, and only turning my rentals into a purchase in the most impressive situations (as an aside, I liked Nacho's Dream Cum Two enough to purchase, anyone who liked the Blowjob Impossible line ought to also enjoy DCT). However, since I have enjoyed every volume of Rocco's Initiations, I went ahead and purchased it without prior viewing, and with it I rented Rocco's Fucking Funny. They arrived today, and I already know that I'll be owning RFF. Experienced readers of this site will be familiar with my tastes in porn, and if you have any doubts, check out some of my reviews. Suffice to say, I like a degree of naturalism and realism, insofar as porn allows. So I'm not much interested in circus tricks, but rather in seeing performers develop some sort of rapport. Rocco's been moving more and more in the latter direction, and most of you probably have a strong opinion about this, either good or bad. If you like Rocco's recent titles, you'll probably really like I8 and RFF, if you wish he'd return to his earlier style, well, these new releases probably aren't for you. I should point out that already in recent months I've been quite impressed with True Anal Stories 20 and Rocco Meats Suzie, and somewhat so with Animal Trainer 14 (I've yet to catch up with TAS 21, but plan to do so soon). What impresses me most about I9 and RFF (which isn't really "funny," instead, it incorporates moments of Teoo Roccaforte-style silliness, even though he isn't it) is that the movies are full of long scenes of people giving each other a good workout. The editing is particularly good in this regard (though the stills and boxcover show that the youthful woman in white stockings on the cover of I8 got some strong anal that i didn't find in the movie, this being the exception to my statement), with most scenes feeling as though they lasted as long as they should, but not too little or too much. Also, both movies have really good bonus footage of very high chemistry rutting. Some particular highlights of I8 include the always dependable Tereza (Rocco Meats Suzie, Orgy World 4, many others, I first reviewed her way back when in Russian(sic) Teen Sluts) doing very strong anal and DP with mainly Manuel Ferrara, and ending it all with a healthy gleam in her eye, and a pretty blonde in the last scene doing some rather strong anal of her own (alongside Lussi, who, as discussed in a Star Crossed thread, does anal here like a champ). This blonde caught my eye because she was called "Monika" in Chasin Tail 4, where she was noticeably awkward as a new performer. She has since grown into her profession, though still not showing nearly the eagerness of some of the best current actresses (such as Anastasia Christ or Angelika). Speaking of Angelika, Rocco finally has her for himself in RFF, after pairing her with other guys in TAS20 and Hazardous Duty. The best studs bring out the best in her, as shown also in Dream Cum Two. Cindy Lords does a good scene with Rocco, then immediately continues it with Kid Jamaica and another black guy (Mike Someone, perhaps he's the same Mike who helped Christoph make Hardball 6? He's definitely an American like Mike Lovechild was), taking them deep up her rear. Judy White once again gets some very physical action, which should please her fans, but for me, the highlight was a quite long (even for these movies) two part scene. Rocco spots pretty Tifany (bottom right on the front cover, she had a bit part in Hazardous Duty) in a restaurant, but her owner/mistress Jenny Blair leads her away. Waitress Daria Glover offers to bring Rocco and Mike to Jenny's house (a Budapest home not seen in several years, old timers will recognize the swimming pool). Some of the comedy ensues, as the trio put on disguises. Rocco finds Tifany, has good energetic sex with her, and is caught by Jenny. He gives her a LONG buttfucking, which she takes quite well. Only then do we go inside, where the bored Daria and Mike start fooling around. Tifany comes in and joins them, then Rocco is ready for more. This time, Tifany (who I find extremely attractive, she's not a Tifany I know from anywhere but HD) gets some strong anal, as does Daria. This double-scene could almost be a movie on its own, and it's followed by Angelika's scene (which has yet more footage in the extras). So this over 3 hour movie (just the feature) really gives the viewer their money's worth...if this is what they want to see. [Link] |
