Question for Tricia or anyone who's interested,

I believe, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that the two parts of Rock 'N Roll Rocco have yet to see a DVD release.

Is there a reason it hasn't been released, and are there any plans to provide a DVD release for it in the near future? I've heard aside from some smoking sex, it's an interesting musical experience as well.

'Interesting' is certainly one word to describe the musical experience.

Actually I've both on DVD they have been released on DVD in Europe.

About the music the Group playing in the DVD is "Elio e le Storie Tese" which is a very particular group their music is satirical and they dissacre most of italian habits so to understand what they say is important .

Italian title of that DVD is Rocco e le Storie Tese

it is somewhat like Xzbit starring in a pornmovie

EDIT i add that the group has a song dedicated to John Holmes and often they quote Supersex Gabriel Pontello's Ifix Tcen Tcen which was his moaning when coming in his Supersex porn Photostories very popular in Europe during '80 years

If "interesting" is a euphemism for "unmitigated bollocks" then I concur.

Actually, I must thank Laurie Cameron Fan as I didn't know the Gabriel Pontello connection - the John Holmes song mentioned is actually annoyingly catchy in a completely crap and annoying sort of way.

So I'm guessing there's no chance in hell this will get a release?

Okay, here's a better question: if a director's early work is released under the Evil Angel banner, is this initiated solely by the director, or can the suggestion be made from coordinators, like Tricia or John, at Evil Angel?

My bad I found a german release (xy)of that movie it has a strange triple language feature Elio sings in Italian , there are English subtitles and the movie is dubbed in German.
But I must say beware from it the extra scene with Francesco Malcolm and Anita Blond is missing and they had even cut out the last scene between Rocco and Anita Blonde in a Bathroom, this scene is very particular because Anited herself said after her retirement this was one of the few scenes in which she really enjoyed the fuck she got out of her hed she said

I think it needs a proper Evil Angel release. Come on, Tricia, you have a fan here waiting to be milked!

Funnily I enough, that's the one I got on VHS. Unfortunately it was edited to fit on a 90 minute tape. I have since got the Italian DVD editions but I believe these have other differences, with regard to the Evil Angel editions, beyond the Anita Blonde scenes you mentioned. Perhaps some scenes that appear on one edition of Rocco's Private Fantasy. It's all slightly confusing. I've never been able to totally confirm this?

If I understood the previous comments correctly; Evil Angel just packages it under the U.S. version; while someone else does the it for each country base on the laws for that country? Italy is the country of origin for Rocco pictures right?

Can some one explain the distribution of Rocco videos and how to get the version(country)that is the straight unedited cut; not the versions that are screened or edited.

Kind of want to start buying now so:

Can you purchase the Rocco unedited versions online(what are they titled and distributor, e.g. Evil Angel in U.S.) and from what retailer(s)?

Tricia's silence on this thread was unexpected, as she's very diligent at answering these sorts of queries. I'm assuming she didn't see the thread?

Have tried ordering Rock'n'Roll Rocco through Orgazmik to no avail. Anyone have a specific Euro retailer I could nab the DVD release from?
