Anyone else here find Rocketpay kind of slimy? It's always a challenge trying to cancel a Rocketpay membership, and they save your card info without your permission.

If you run a website and use Rocketpay, please for the love of God, switch to CCBill if at all possible or Epoch. Rockpay appears to suck ass for viewers buying memberships. I've gotten increasingly fed up with Rocketpay to the extent that I may avoid them entirely.

Because they want you to stay a member
It's up to the site to make sure cancel membership is easy not the payment processor. The site can get into trouble with visa/mastercard if they don't make it easy to cancel.

^ Agree, but unfortunately there's lots of gray in terms of the distinctions between the two.

To RocketPay's credit, cancelling was straightforward, but nowhere near as easy as with other processors like CCBill. And you have to call them, depending on the setup. You often can't cancel online. And saving credit card info without asking may be vaguely permissible, but it's definitely not a best practice - and it's kind of slimy.
