I like Rodney Moore's attitude. I like the way he will often play up the ridiculousness of the scenarios he is using. Too many porn directors take themselves far too seriously. Rodney Moore clearly cares about and enjoys what he does, but he's also got the sense to realise that, in the end, it is only porn.
What I most like about Mr. Moore is the wide variety of women that he uses in his films. Many aren't pornstar perfect but seem to be women that you see on the street. Rodney is the original King of POV. His easy demeanor and steady camera skills still hold up today. He started shooting POV before about everyone I think. But Mason answered the question already.
Rodney Moore like John Stagliano is one of the most imitated adult-director out there yet unlike Stagliano he's very underrated and doesn't get the credit for what he has done and what he is still doing. When I shot for Rodney I mostly helped out with the full sex scenes, not the BJ scenes. He shoots most of the BJ ones by himself. Because most of his scenes are BJ only, you could say that a larger percentage of the time, he shot camera solo. When I did shoot camera, it was only to help with the intros, capture side angles, wide shots, anything he could not shoot on his own (although, toward the end, I was shooting most of the scenes in their entirety). Overall, I'd say approximately 25% of the footage used was shot by me back then. That was a few years ago, though, so I have no idea what the breakdown is now.
So, yes, while Rodney did have help shooting camera in the past, I'd say he does the bulk of the shooting himself. And he's damn good at it too.
