Exactly. Women are no judge of romance. Kit Kat makes some very romantic vids of girls eating big chunks of mope poop. Then they get puked and pissed on. These are very popular with California couples.
Well... Porn is still this taboo thing. Oh, granted, it's more mainstream than 20-30 years ago. Bit in mixed company.. You still cant freely talk about how watching porn, how much you watch, what kind you watch, etc. Porn actresses are still shuned by the mainstream media (movies, tv, etc), for fear of being attached to porn could negativly effect the bottom line. Granted... Most porn actresses dramatic acting chops are probably less than stellar (or non existent), but my point being.. Angilina Jolie could do a porn movie tomorrow.. And then never get another mainstream offer again (unless it's one of these leaked sex tape deals.. Women seem to be able to escape from those unscathed) But why is porn still "taboo", when probably 2/3 to 3/4 of guys watch it, and even a small (but growing) number if women? Unwound even bet in the under 25 crowd.. Those percentages are even higher. So it isn't men that are keeping porn down. I think it's time to rebrand porn and give it a new name to try to seperate it from this stigma. A new word that summarizes "romance for men". How about "hardcore romance", or "adult romance". What do you think?
Who says that women were the ones who defined what is traditionally seen as romantic? How do you know it wasn't mutual? I think men have let porn distract them from the actually caring about their partner part, and has led them to believe they know what "good sex" is.
Porn purveyors seem themselves as catering to the market rather than molding it. IMO although some women enjoy anal sex, for the most part men are far more interesting in fucking women in the ass than women are about getting fucked up their asses.
