Also, to be fair, the years she was nominated (2015/2016) Anikka Albrite and Riley Reid won - so that's some pretty stiff competition. Along with Romi, Chanel Preston is another one whose been robbed multiple times. ^^ I don't really know either. But you got people like Riley, Angela, Adrianna, putting on career years, you have women like AJ Applegate (someone like Romi should have one on her resume by now) still burning up the screens, it's another year that will make some people happy and piss other people off. As a long time watcher of Romi, it would be great to see a POTY on her resume. I think I mentioned in another thread I wish it could be a 3 person award... "perfomerS of the year". That would help with the backlog a bit. In this day and age,year after year there are a good half dozen at least that have a significant case for being given the award. Someone said a 3 person award would defeat the purpose of "performer of the year" but I definitely get where you're coming from. There is hardly a clear-cut winner anymore, and it makes for a very tough and unfair situation. It just bugs me that certain deserving performers won't be recognized. Times should adapt, porn should to. PerformerS of the Year would be a great way to deal with this. Then, over say a 5 year period, the true outstanding of the era will all have been recognized. It's silly to think Romi could not have one by the time she is done, and that can be said for others as well. Her depiction as Wonder Woman is the best main stream crossover thing I have ever seen, that deserves to be honored. So, count me as one dude who wishes each year had three. There would still be angry fans, sad performers, but at least with 3, we would have a much better reflection of top performers of this era. I find it to be a better fit at this point. As a porn consumer, it is a good problem to have. To be in an era where we can argue over 5 - 10 different people as being the best in the industry year in and year out.
