^Let's be realistic here. Ron is 63 years old, no longer the svelte man he was 30 years ago and probably is not a performer that most (not including you) people want to see have sex with anyone. Luckily for you and me he shot a ton of amazing porn already so we always have that to enjoy.

I think that Ron is having trouble getting it up these days, which would seriously hurt his ability to perform in sex scenes. I am not saying this as a mean snipe at him. If you watch the movie Duke Fuckem, Jeremy is unable to achieve an erection during his sex scene. As a fan of his from the golden age films he was in, I wish he was used more for non-sexual scenes, however, I think that his sexual career may now be behind him.

^That would have been the most obvious thing to do but maybe he realised or producers realised that although he was an amazing performer. He couldn't actually direct porn.

Good point, he did direct nearly 300 videos in the late 80s and early 90s but they are uniformly garbage.

From what I've heard, he's pretty well off financially (and lives a rather frugal lifestyle) so he really doesn't really need to perform or direct anymore. Plus he still has other outlets to keep making money - mainstream work, does appearances, and licensing out his name and likeness to various companies/products to some nice paychecks and keep himself busy.

Every recent scene I've scene from him going back at least 5-6 years he's had his hand clasped tightly around his dick the whole scene just to keep a little blood in it.
