"Anyone remember this girl..." I certainly do, she was only around from about 91-92 but if you ever saw her she's kind of unforgettable. I don't know if the length of her time wouldn't qualify her for hall of fame but she should be there as one of the most beautiful women to ever do porn. Around the time she left she and another girl were on the Geraldo Rivera show and she talked about being in porn and the bad experience she had when she went overseas to shoot some movie and that she was glad she was out. She also appeared in a few mainstream softcore films under the name Sara Bellomo but since the mid 90's she's been gone completely. I don't know what the criteria for admittance is but she's always been one of my all time favorites and is definitely " Hall of Fame" to me.
I have a cousin who works at Pixar that went to high school with her. I guess she was a self-impressed snot back then but that still didn't stop him from watching her movies! I agree that she was really quite beautiful. I only saw a handful of her flicks back then but I'll always remember her for being way ahead of the curve beauty-wise.

Do you know what was the movie, was it mainstream/hardcore, was it shot, or did she walk out before shooting started?
If I'm remembering correctly she and the other girl were both booked to be in some mainstream film being shot in asia ( I think ) and when they got there it turned out to be BS and I think they may have been held for awhile and tried to be turned into prostitutes, I'm pretty sure that's the reason they were on his show. She said when they got there things didn't feel right and that's when she mentioned she'd been in porn and said she was getting the same vibe with the people she was dealing with that she got from people in porn. That's when she said she regretted getting into porn and was grateful to her family for helping her get out. I only saw that episode once, back when it aired around 93, (and I only noticed it because I was flipping channels and holy crap there was Roxanne Blaze) so my memory is a bit iffy but those are the parts I remember.

Thanks for the clarification. I was aware she did a few mainstream features as Bellomo but was not familiar with her reasons for leaving porn. She was very very attractive and could also act.
I only saw her in Up & Cummers 1 and 3, but that was enough to make me VERY interested in her. There are more beautiful girls in porn now and when she was working. But Roxanne had something special that's hard to put your finger on. I really enjoyed her and wish she had done more. I'm sorry she had a bad experience, but I'd like to think that was isolated and that what I saw from her was fun and profitable. I know it was fun for me! :) Dr. P
the incident overseas she talked about was after she had left porn and wasn't related to the industry. I think at that point she was trying to keep working in mainstream films but it seems this experience may have lead her to leave show business entirely because after the few softcore films she made she disappeared for good. A few years back there was a show called Early Edition about a guy who gets a copy of the news paper a day early and in one episode there was a blonde actress who looked a lot like her, I kept hoping maybe it was her and she was still acting but unfortunately it wasn't her. I'd still love to see her pop up on some show someday because as DrP0rn0 said there was something special about her.

Roxanne was a real Cali Girl pornstar. Blonde, cute-without-makeup, and sexually adventurous. The porn industry doesn't attract many girls with that combination anymore; today it's all about the money. Too bad. Roxanne's best sexvid, that displayed her acting chops and sexuality, was "Nothing to Hide" directed by Paul Thomas (on hiatus from Vivid) back in the early 1990s. Totally agree, the movie that best showcased her entire scope was JUSTINE: NOTHING TO HIDE 2 and her hottest scenes were the ones for UP AND CUMMERS 1 and 3, my favorite is the scene with her, Randy West and the very lucky Randy Spears ( she really seemed to love doing that scene and her honest enjoyment made that scene off the scale ) who also got to do another scene or two with her in other films.

I remember renting that exact same video back in '92 or '93? I also remember seeing the cover for the first time and thinking,"Holy shit this chick is amazing!!!!" She was so much prettier than a lot of the chicks in the biz at that time.
She was awesome in the few movies of hers that I have somewhere on VHS: "Justine: Nothing to Hide 2" "Blaze of Glory" "If These Walls Could Talk" (there might have been two parts to this, but I can't remember if she were in both or not) Great performer.
