Uggh! Everyone has been so great and really helped me out on ADT so I was hoping to go to the well one more time.

When surfing certain sites, I keep getting this error message or somthing extremely similar in a small error box:

A runtime error has occured
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 2 (this number changes)
Error:Unspecified error

It there a setting that is off or screwed up? Sometimes I can not even leave the site until I run script editor and then click it off.

Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance for your time.

Run the checkdisk utility. Double-click on My Computer icon and right-click on your c:\ and select Properties. Under the Tools tab, click on Check Now under Error-checking.

This should do it.

It's an error message IE gives when it runs across either HTML or it can't handle very well. It's nothing so serious as a failing hard disk.

hd's correct, it's as simple as clicking internet options-advanced-disable script debugging.

I'm often running into this kind of error message, and I must agree with Heinrich Dahlmear and jamesboston: It's only a script error - nothing that you should worry about.

You guys are the fuckin bomb! Thanks so much I really appreciate the help...I have recieved more help on ADT than anywhere else on the web. Recently my cpu crashed and I had to get it recovered so I am encountering all kinds of problems I have not had to deal with in a couple of years. I would have never figured that out on my own so again I thank you guys a 1000 times.
