Traditionally when a really top...hot star shoots her first B/G scene the hype made by the studio is massive. If Ryan did go down that path the chances are it would be with one of her friends favorite studios such as DP, Babes, Twisty's or Reality Kings..........there has been no news from any of them around this. I will be pleasantly surprised if she has, but with Bree Daniels, Staci Carr, Eva Lovia, Abi Mac and Aubrey Starr all shooting their first scenes last year one can never tell. If she really only wants to be around for only 2-3 years, it would be smart to retire as G/G only, she's already half-way through her career. Personally, I would prefer a G/G star to retire than cross over. It's funny that G/G is treated like a niche genre, even though it's way more popular than that. There are multiple websites and studios dedicated to just G/G, it's one of the highest searched for porn Genres, and plenty of women make a fine living doing it. But for some strange reason, it's treated like it's small time and not "Real". Frustrating. [Link]

The only way I could see this changing is if a new player came into the industry and started paying more for G/G scenes, at least equal to B/G rates. Think about it, why would a girl do a G/G scene for another company that paid them less? They could take it a step further by having contracts that forbid the girls from doing G/G for any other company. It's also common knowledge that girls can do more G/G scenes than B/G in the same time frame. So if you are doing more scenes and getting paid at B/G rates, where's the downside? This company would have to have deep pockets though, but just imagine the shakeup it would create if G/G stars had this option? How could other companies compete if they stuck to the same formula? Think of it as a Lesbian Digital Playground; High quality production, exclusive contracts, and higher pay. Of course the scenes would be much better. [Link]

Assuming they are somewhat like normal everyday women who might give a damn about social stigma and their ability to get a quality man in real life, they'll likely start G/G only. It is perceived as less slutty and maybe safer. Then it's just a matter of price to lure them over. Or not. If they make enough money to suit them, they'll stay G/G only. Because the money in B/G is better but the perceived social stigma is also larger. G/G fans on these message boards act like these performers are special virgins from Greek mythology. But they are just making a personal economic decision that works for them. The market demand and compensation is way way higher for B/G. If girl only porn stars get upset by being asked about doing guys, they are clueless about the business they are in. Women who plunge right in to B/G don't care about social stigma or any of that. If they want to make the most money the quickest, they just go B/G right of the gate. It's way more about economic need than any special level of self-respect they have for themselves. None of it is B/G, G/G, Solo or whatever is something they'll be talking about at an actual job interview in the real world or mentioning at cocktail parties. [Link]
