Wow, I just saw something that I thought I would never see in a Vivid product. In 59 Seconds, the closing gangbang scene not only features Savanna Samson being doubled vagged, but ass to pussy and atm, and other gonzo acts that I can't name. Although it was a really hot scene, I cannot survive on a steady diet of this stuff (enough already with the extended 45+ minute scene in what is supposed to be features porn). I'm just wondering if other fans would agree/or not with me that Vivid has totally scrapped its production code, and gone full throttle gonzo?
Savanna Samson's sexvids with Vivid have always been harder than the average Vivid Girl videos. Still, Vivid's product has been getting rougher and rougher since 2005. But since not many gonzo fans buy Vivid, this change has not been noticed by the hardcore crowd. Savanna Samson has been their Top Girl for many years because she accepts all the changes; which is the approach that Monique Alexander is now taking too. In return, they get better roles in Vivid's top productions, get to represent the company at non-porn events, and are "pushed" for AVN noms. Other Vivid Girls have left for other companies, or to concentrate on their own website, or retired rather than do rougher, gonzo style action that Vivid has added to their contracts--as a "sign or leave" provision. For example, all current Vivid contract girls have signed to do at least one anal scene and IR. Still, Savanna is the only Vivid Girl who has done gangbangs in Vivid productions. She did her first in "Savanna Samson Superstar" a couple of years ago--and actually seems to enjoy the more extreme sex. Remember, Savanna's first sexvid was as a pro/am shot with Rocco Siffredi in europe...in which she did a couple of anals, and a 3-guy IR blowbang. BTW, given that Vivid keeps scenes on the shelf for many months before releasing them, there's no way to know how recent "59 Seconds" is. Although Savanna was at this year's AEE and AVN, I don't think she performed in scenes in 2007. She was focusing on her wine making business and other non-porn activities. So, this may be old material, and not something that we'll see other Vivid Girls doing.

Actually, from speaking to Savanna herself and all the impressions I get it's that Savanna has been pushing Vivid to go harder and not the other way around. Kimi Lixx,Julie Night,Tina Tyler and then everyone else.
In my original post I said I thought Savanna liked harder porn, and that her sexvids have always been harder than the other Vivid Girls. Plus I've often said that Savanna is The Company Fav among Vivid Girls and had a lot of influence (Like showing up unexpected on the "Debbie.."and "stealing" the final Orgy-in-Hell scene from Stefani and Monique), but I don't think she's responsible for the change in Vivid's corporate policy. Vivid decision to go harder, and demand more from their contract girls is, IMO, because they've lost their creative drive, and the know-how to make features that are sexually erotic. In short, they can no longer produce product for the couples market. They either make incoherent features like "Emperor" or endless remakes of "Debbie Does Dallas" or "The Devil & Miss Jones." Otherwise, they turn out neo-gonzo product like "59 Seconds." This is not Savanna's doing.
The first cumshot is faked, and the guy (who is holding his limp dick) squirts what looks like a load of Piña Colada mix on her face. It's obviously fake cum, it looks more like white paint. Anyone who has seen the DVD will know what I'm talking about. Look at the lower right screenshot. The three other guys manage to cum on her face/mouth with fairly weak real loads (with two of them being just a few drops). Oh yeah ,I almost forgot but in addition to doing the Gonzo acts Savanna's has been squirting as well in her later stuff. And favored girl or not, the Vivid/DP/Wicked's of the world do not let girls skate on the their contracts (see the recent Teagan/Stefani Morgan threads as examples) My point is that if Savanna Samson is still on the Vivid payroll but not shooting scenes then Vivid is losing money. Which means that my beloved Savanna Samson will find herself in the Vivid doghouse.
I will have to take another look at Savannah Sampson now after these comments. This vid looks like a "get". Just goes to show you how the Vivid product has bored consumers. I have gone to sleep with the products they have been producing. I almost forgot they were out there. Their business model has finally caught up with them. But, SS will be on my watch list for here recent "edgy" stuff.
As much as I like SS I find it hard to get a Vivid movie just for her,and then skip all other scenes. I would rather save the cash and buy a proper Gonzo movie with All Killer no Filler scenes.
