But from the commercial companies, only CCC/Rodox/Filmlab A-S ( different names, the same company ! ) worked with 15-17 year olds until 1987. I know this for sure, because a danish girlfriend, made some movies with 15 in 1986. The distribution of these movies wasnt legal in most european countries, but because nobody knew the real age of some "Fifteeners" THEN, nobody cared. And it wasnt illegal under ( the old ) danish law. But most are 16 and 17, or even about 18, even in the Teenage Climax, Teenage Lust, Teenage Sex, Teenage Bestsellers etc. The NEW Color Climax titles are all § 2257 compliant, these are produced in Eastern Europe, and marketed by Beate Uhse Productions, Germany. ( They are very bad - have nothing in common with the classics ) They only have the title and name rights, e.G. "Sex Bizarre" - they dont own the old movies. Because of a very complicated company structure, the rights of the old movies are divided between - as I understand - at least three companys. Ive read also, that the new re-relases of the old CCC classics, from Vidco (?), should have only 18 year old actresses. But I already discovered 2 girls on 2 covers, where I am 99% sure, that they are 16 or 17. I know only the german versions of these DVDs, they DONT have a 2257 compliant statement. And Germany STILL has a 14-year minimum age, the lowest in Europe, but they will raise it to 18 until the end of the year. ( US forced all european countries to adapt the 2257 regulations. ) So as much as I like the movies, its rather risky to order them. I wouldnt do it, as an US or CAN citizen. And its risky for most Europeans now also. Because even if all were 18 and older, and I really doubt this, the missing 2257 statement is already dangerous enough. If you have more questions, please send me a mail. e.g. this is teen porn, not "kiddie porn". Only the US want us to believe, that teenagers are "kids", if they perform in porn. Yes, they produced and marketed quite a lot of child porn movies, from 1971 until 1979. The most famous was the "Lolita" Series, published on Super-8. But they had 2 dozen other magazine series. ( I can recommend the book "Child pornography" by Taylor/Quayle - two scientists, who did extensible research on child molesting and child porn. ) In the end of 1979, danish parlament changed the law and banned child porn production and distribution. So Denmark was the first country that legalized porn, but also the first, that banned child porn in Europe. My girlfriend started to work at Filmlab A/S ( another branch of CCC ) in 1986 with 15. 15 was the legal minimum age for porn in DK then. And NOBODY only mentioned the child porn scandal then. It was totally taboo. She doubts, that she had worked there, if she had knew the criminal history of CCC. When she moved to the Netherlands one year later, she heard all this for the first time. I really dont like what CCC did, but it is also important to say, that many companies in Scandinavia and NL produced childporn then. It was legal in most scandinavian countries until 1982 and in NL as late as early 1986. And the US officials also dont want to be remembered, that child porn was legal in the USA until 1977/78, until then, the US was the biggest consumer of cp, and one of the biggest producers in the world. In the mid-70s, men visiting a porn video cabinet, could choose between different child porn movies, they only had to insert a quarter. Do you know the Hollywood movie "Hardcore" ? Directed by Paul Schrader ? Its mirrowing perfectly this crazy time, even if the "kiddie porn" issue is only mentioned barely. "Beast" movies - I would prefer animal porn - is a totally different thing. I wouldnt name it in one sentence with terrible child porn. One is a horrific crime against children, the other is an extreme part of sexuality and porn, but it shouldnt be criminalized. ( You still can rent and buy many animal porn movies in the Netherlands. ) Animal porn is still produced until today, but not by Color Climax. They stopped production in the early 80s, if I am informed correctly. But not because of judicial reasons, more and more countries banned the distribution of animal porn, and so the market was too small for a big company like CCC, they had incredibly high print runs and copies of their super8 and video movies. Another explaination can be, that they wanted to improve their image, and that this was one of the reasons to stop animal porn. But CCC is now defunct. The new company called so, is a branch of german Beate Uhse. ( They only have bought the name and title rights ) And the rights of the old movies are torn up between at least 3 companys, who claim, that they are the legal successor of CCC and its many subdivisions.
