Not even Stoya retired it is true though that Stoya is rumored to be in bad terms with an unmentioned DP director and may not renew her contract wether this lead to a retirement or to sign with another company is not certain so far

Yeah, I know. Girls in this biz are like a revolving door of "I am retiring". There are very few girls that get out and stay out. Usually most of those girls are ones who had a tough time in the biz.
OAN, I have a problem with the word "retire" in general. If you haven't been in for longer than five years, I feel they should not be able to use that word. Michael Jordan can retire. Blake Griffin cannot. Tom Brady can retire. Deshawn Jackson cannot. Same goes for porn. Jenna Haze can retire. Any girl that has come in within the last 3-5yrs cannot. At that point it is just called quiting.

I have to say i think that Sasha would make a return if her mainstream money dried up. She left, in my opinion, because she'd done it all and there was no financial reason to keep going. Plus I think it would be very difficult to keep actively shooting porn whilst booking mainstream acting jobs.

Here is the definition of hiatus and I think we all know what "permanent" means.
