I doubt that's it, as Nexx and Knox aren't close enough to really cause confusion, especially when most of the time the name is going to be read and not spoken out loud. And I don't think Sasha Knox is a popular enough performer to truly worry about name confusion with. I think the domains are a more likely culprit, with the added benefit of the fact that alliteration is generally considered to make a name more memorable, and starting with A gets you towards to top of a sites model lists alphabetically.
