I'm not denying that it happened, but I doubt I'll ever invest any real time into investigating it either way. If LaVey was an asshole that doesn't make his teachings inherently less valuable imo, not that I agree with his teachings anyway (although I consider "The Satanic Witch" useful). As for Catholicism, I don't know that the immorality of individual Catholics, including priests, means that its claims are false. Catholic moral teaching is based on the scholastic theory of natural law. I wouldn't conclude that clerical sex abuse means that Catholic natural law theory is false. I would usually agree to a degree but when it come to religion, magic or philosophy it is the one area where personal behaviour has some relevance I think. In some ways all these systems are teaching us how to live, if the teacher doesn't practice what they preach or even more importantly their practice of their system leads to real world negative consequences, it seems relevant. Also, there is always the question of where to draw the line when seprating the person and their work. I'm not always sure when and where to draw it but it as least should be noted whenever possible for others to know and consider for themselves where they want to draw the line. Too often domestic abuse always seems to get a pass, as does even rape surprisingly (Polanski, Tyson, Tupac) but overt racism (Gibson) and pedophilia (Gary Glitter) are usually seen as verboten. Good morning America... How are You, I'm Your native son... Ever since my first listening to Johnny Cash back in the early 80's, I thought there was something diabolic in the air. But that was just to set the scene. There was so much more to it. And trust me, religion never really made it to the top. Politics did. So did faith. And disbelief. But that's another story.
Christ is false. He is proposed to be resurrected from death which is completely unnatural dealing with our own human biology and emergent properties. This is "testament" to how religion tends to blind brains who are prone to be fogged with faith. We should never accept a lie no matter how decoratively comforting it is. There is nothing natural about Christianity which is solely based on pilfered tales from the polytheists. We as an animal species were given the "gift" of cognitive thought yet now we abuse it by enforcing something called "spirituality" upon weaker version of ourselves. If you are truly strong you won't accept Satan... You will accept yourself above God and that is what Satanism is all about.
I remember this scene with Lee Stone and Nikita Denise where they were in full demon costume fornicating. It may have been for a some type of fantasy themed feature. Can't recall the exact title but it contains lots of red lights, smoke machines, and horned individuals :)

The real heyday for Satanic or Occult themed porn was the 70s. Most of it is cheesy but there is enough that Alpha Blue was able to release a 10-12 movie set and that only scratches the surface. The best of them is Zebedy Colt's The Devil Inside Her and Hardgore.

Also worth noting is Satan's face paint -- KISS also debuted in 1977. This coincidence will make you wonder who was first. Not sure if this is just a question of how you framed that but just so others here know, it wasn't the watersports in the memorable gangbang scene here that made Annie quit the business for a while, she was enthusiastic to shoot the scene because she had a fantasy of being gang raped but after the scene was over she was distuurbed and had to take some time off to get her head straight.
Actually KISS debuted way before 1977. More like '73. They were at their peak in 1977, but had been around for way longer than that. Gene's make up came first.

That's what you get for quoting other people On Gene, just wanted to note the distinct similarities in Gene's makeup, huge KISS fan as a kid but no idea when they started exactly. On Annie, I had read that the watersports in the later Kneel Before Me (1983), I mentioned above, was part of the reason she also quit for a while, and with the even larger quantities that she is clearly not enjoying in Devil Inside Her seemed to ring true for her to reconsider it for that reason in this too. Do you realize that members of the "Church of Satan" don't believe in an actual being called Satan. There is a common misconception there. The ones that actually think there is a being out there, are thestic satanists and are not the official church of satan. so a reverse cross could just be middle fingering christianity as opposed to worshiping another invisible being.
