There's nothing they could do to any incumbent. (Incidentally, this goes the same way for groups on the left trying to pressure Republican officeholders). Think about this- the NRA has ensured that the federal assault weapons ban will expire in less than a month. This is partly because most federal officeholders are nowhere near as safe as most California officeholders. Likewise, it has failed, repeatedly, to overturn the California ban that the federal one was based on. Like I said before, Koertz isn't taken seriously, even by his own party. [Link] |
