To tell you the truth, when I first saw your message, I was convinced that you were wrong. When I asked our duplication lab to give me duplicate masters of Animal Trainer 1, I noticed that the scenes in it were different than on the AT1 VHS boxcover.
Turns out that somehow, I received the wrong scenes from the VHS department and never knew that the problem was with the masters I received. (I actually went to the boxcover dept. and yelled at them for putting the wrong pictures on the VHS box.)
So tonight, I watched the VHS version (it had been over a year since I had seen it when we started the DVD.
This was not an intentional switch, and I am deeply embarrassed. But there is no way that I can remember for months or years exactly which movies certain scenes are in. I trust the workers at Evil Angel to do a good job, but occassionally mistakes are made.
Since this is the weekend, I will not be able to determine exactly what the cause of the mixup was. But since that is something to be dealt with inside Evil Angel, I will leave this message with this...
I spoke with John today while he's in Brazil, and we will plan on including the two scenes in Rocco: Animal Trainer 2 DVD. Since the AT1 VHS movie and boxcover match, and the DVD boxcover matches the movie that's in it, the AT1 DVD will most likely stay as it is, and the Animal Trainer 2 movie will include the other original scenes, along with the 2 scenes that are not in the Animal Trainer 1 DVD.
I apologize, and hopefully when the point of the mixup is identified, steps will be able to taken to minimize the possibility of this happening again.
