I really love to see these kind of scenes.. the problem is that they are very rare for many many reasons... They have to do more about the fact that the adult performers are usually tired and bored, and simetimes they are not so excited with what the director or their partner tells them to do... It is natural. Especially the male talent, who, I personally believe, have the biggest responsibility about the success or not of a scene, spend many hours yanking trying to stay hard.. The performers are not told what to do or what positions to fuck in (I only tell them what NOT to do, because most performers been brainwashed to do some very fake things on camera and they default right into it.)
As for Dylan Ryan, she's one of the "new crop" of porn star I'm so excited about. Since no one else has picked up your HG recommendation, I'll add a comment here. I'm a fan of Liam and Chloe on HG, but she's not his only GF. Besides several other scenes with Chloe, he can be seen with Kimberly and Clarabelle and others he swings with.
HG can be a mixed bag because of the mix of Amateur and ProAM content. The amateur stuff with real life couples offers the opportunity for some honest passion, but some of the scenes have questionable technical qualities. The ProAm stuff typically lacks the passion you're looking for.

What I look for in a performer, overall, is the ability to hit the right emotional note during the sex scene, consistent with the dynamic between the characters, so that the sex scene doesn't seem out of place with the dialogue that preceded it. Some performers give the same scene every time, every movie, regardless of the story or the character -- as if it's their one "dance routine" they default into. But I prefer performers who are somewhat different in every scene. I shouldn't be able to predict much about their performance, if they're really good. (Other than that it will be a good scene.) ;-)
