I have also seen Max Hardcore scenes where girls are clearly in distress and asking to stop and he just shouts at them until they continue on but look absolutely traumatised and in shock, just dead behind the eyes. It's not sexy at all, just very uncomfortable. Max did later apologise after he went to prison for how he treated some of the girls but not entirely sure how genuine that was.

Related, and maybe I have said this here already, I hate it when a performer puts her hand back to control the depth or speed of penetration and the male performer brushes her hand away. I have seen this a few times and it never looks staged. It's too discrete to be done for effect imo.

As far as chicks using their hands to direct the dudes to go slower or less deep: it's very common and usually isn't a good look. I'd rather they stop shooting, talk it out, lube up and get it edited out. Seeing it feels more like they're conducting routine/mechanical daily business than the wild pornstar fuckolympics I aim to see. It would be fine if the aim was to convey the idea that the dude's penis/fucking is too much for her to the point she needs to blatantly tell him to go easy or something, but you can usually spot it in even the most vanilla/boring scenes.

If a chick truly asks to stop/uses the safeword and the dude doesn't stop, it's rape. I don't know if it has happened in western porn but it did in japanese porn, director and performers went to prison for it and the dvd label was banned.

There is a scene in the DVD where there are two models (Regan Starr and someone else) and they are standing on pallets on warehouse shelves as if they are commodities for sale or something similar. There are a couple of guys who start to degrade them (presumably as part of the scene) and Regan starts to cry. The scene is stopped because of this.

The good news is that the scene was stopped because one of the performers had difficulties with the psychological side of the scene. The bad news is that the director chose to keep this in the DVD. They really should have shown more respect and left that on the cutting room floor. I wouldn't be surprised if any VOD copies of the DVD now have that removed.
