I'm posting this here because I want the largest number of people to view it as possible. I recently subbed to Score TV on Roku a private channel offered by the Score group. The bad news is that they have not thought out the process very well at all [I'm being kind]. There is no login hence no way to manage your acct. other than a phone call and they only offer phone support 9AM to 9PM. The online support forms do not work at all. You get a message saying all fields are not filled in no matter what you do. They also have a limited number of movies available compared to the other two services mentioned below. Now here is the real clincher and something I find completely and totally unacceptable and inexcusable. Fyre TV and Sugar DVD allow you to authorize all your players in the household to receive the service. Score wants to squeeze extra money from you by charging a full sub for each player. No other streaming service that I know of does this. When I called them the operator was short and uncaring with me. Offered no help whatsoever such as to speak with a superior or any reason for being so fucking money grubbing greedy. In short I would not recommend subscribing to Score tv at this time and I highly recommend both Sugar and Fyre for content, website management and customer support. Hopefully Score will improve their service but I somehow didn't get the impression they actually give a shit. Squeeze me babe, till the juice runs down my leg

Thanks for sharing your experience. Score is one of my favorite studios, too bad they are trying to squeeze the public but most companies do this today if they can get away with it. I know Sugar does not offer Score products for DVD rental. The Roku channel is a new product with limited titles available so I did not bother with it. I cancelled my subscription to SugarDVD a couple of weeks ago because 90% of the titles I added to my rental queue were listed as "checked out" and stayed checked out indefinitely. It seems Sugar is focusing their business on DVD sales and not putting much effort into their DVD rental library. And like you said, Score may be indifferent to your request for customer service because they do not give a shit. If you get poor customer service, simply don't deal with them ever again.
I think it is a philosophical problem with some porn dealers. Some of them are stuck in that mindset of captive customers paying $20 for a porn flick on the TV in a hotel room. They think people are willing to paying an inflated price for the convenience of in-home instant access. You see the same mentality on VOD sites selling streaming video for a higher price than the price of the actual DVD.
The SCORE TV subscription channel must be fairly new. I've had their ROKU channel for months and all they offered was a few clips that were only a couple of minutes long. After reading the posts in this thread checked the channel and see that they have many more clips and an offer to subscribe that I've never seen before (or never noticed). I've never bought anything from the SCORE website but I've always liked their movies and magazines and never really heard any negative stuff about them before. With some private ROKU channels for the companies who stream content through them it's a work in progress. This is probably a new thing for SCORE and they're probably trying things and progressing slowly as they work things out. I'm glad to hear SCORE has some sort of subscription channel streaming on ROKU but I'm guessing it might be a little while before they figure it all out and offer a wide selection of content. Give them some time. UPDATE: I visited the site and apparently SCORETV has been around longer than I originally thought. I actually might give SCORETV a shot later this week after I read the terms and details. They don't have a large selection but there are a few movies I've always wanted to check out. I don't know if they continuosly add movies or rotate the selection but for the price they charge I'd be willing to try them for a month or so to see the movies I want. On a side note...I'm happy to see more sites offering streaming content for ROKU. It's a great product and I think it's (and other devices like it) going to play a big part in how we watch movies and all types of content in the future.

My main problem with them is charging full membership for each player. As far as I know no other service does this. That's like saying you have to pay another membership for using a laptop instead of your desktop.
After reading your post and checking out what they have to offer I'm considering trying them out but only for a month or so because they don't have enough content I'm interested in at this point past that. But I can't find much info on the site or about the site. How hard/easy is it to cancel a subsription?

If you are referring to the Roku subscription, Sugar DVD is as easy to deal with as anyone. Billing resumes on the same (numbered) day each month that you signed up unless you cancel. I reactivate and cancel my memberships all the time and there is never an issue. Roku at SugarDVD website Click on "view service plans" and it shows the price breakdown.
^ No. I'm talking about the SCORETV subscription for ROKU. I gave in and signed up but I don't feel too comfortable with it because they don't have an actual SCORETV site to log-in to to watch and manage your account. From what I see you have to call them directly or go to some site that seems to be a completely diffrent company to cancel. Never tried SUGARDVD but FYRETV and VIDEOBOX make it easy to manage your account because all info is right on their main site.

It sounds like a headache in the making when people use 3rd party billing. The same people providing the service should be the same people in charge of the billing else I don't deal with them.

It would be a good idea to make your feelings known to them. Maybe if enough people point out their shortcomings they will correct some things. And don't forget to mention the subscription bull shit too. You will have to call them. I couldn't get the contact form on the site to work. I'll be interested in hearing their response. Like I said they were borderline rude with me.
^ I will. I only plan to keep the service for a month because there's only a few movies I want to see. I signed on to see those movies because I'd never be able to see them otherwise because SCORE has a bunch of movies they only make available by buying them from their site and quite frankly they charge too much for their DVDs and the shipping fees are waaay too high. I'm annoyed that there isn't an actual site to handle and keep track of your account and I will certainly let them know there needs to be one and I probably won't renew until they get one. It would also be nice if they had a bigger selection but that isn't my biggest concern. I'm going to probably call and cancel in the next week or so. Supposedly you get your full month of service even if you cancel before the month is up.

Just a suggestion, take a look at BushDVD. They carry 302 titles from Score studio and most are available for rental or will be available for rental within a short period. If you are only interested in a few titles it may be in your interest to sign up for one of their inexpensive unlimited programs. I never rent from them on a per title basis, instead I sign up for their unlimited subscriptions. Figure you will turn over the DVD level you are on each week. For instance, if you sign up for a 2 DVD out at a time under the unlimited program and you hold the title for only a day or two, you will go through this same number for the following weeks, hence 2x4 = 8 titles per month to view. If you sign up for a 4 DVD out at a time level, hence 4x4=16 titles to view per month. This of course has to do with how long you hold the titles, the number of titles you have in your rental queue and availability but BushDVD does a good job of making stuff available. Only if something says "Long Wait" can you pretty much NOT count on it being made available.
^ Thanks for the suggestion. But I'm just not interested in renting from any site. I like the abilty to have lots of movies at my disposal to watch and/or own through streaming through my ROKU. The selection is smaller but I like having movies I can watch or try out at anytime without the hassle of mailing and waiting. My only real complaint with SCORETV is that it seems like a hassle to cancel. Their selection is small but the 9.99 monthly fee is still a great deal because the 7 or 8 movies I want to watch would've cost me over $300 bucks if I bought them and even renting them would cost more than $9.99. I'm sure in a few months they'll have some more movies I want to see and I'll join up again if they get a better cancel set-up or if this time doesn't turn out to be a hassle for me. The SCORETV thing is mostly just a test run. The next test run will be FYRETV.

I think you'll like Fyre and Sugar DVD. I also have Hotflixx. Videobox is new to the game and looks interesting as well. I just cancelled with Score due to my previously stated concerns and lack of content.
I'm very pleased with VIDEOBOX. It offers over 12,000 movies from many different companies for a pretty low rate and they're downloadable plus they add 5 "new" movies every day. The only (minor to me) downside is they don't offer newer movies less than a year old. FYRETV looks good and offers newer titles but you have to buy studio packages of the one studio, or buy/rent a scene or movie at a time. Not bad but not as good for me as VIDEOBOX. SUGAR DVD has a huge selection but on their site they say they only offer a few hundred movies for ROKU streaming and I'm only interested in getting movies through the ROKU. For now I'm sticking with VIDEOBOX ongoing and trying the others for a month or so at a time.
Somebody needs to create an open source media player box so the users aren't limited to a small selection of streaming sites. Ideally, anything that is streamable to a PC should be streamable to a media player box.

Speaking of Something Weird video, the other day I visited their website and they provide free trailers on a lot of topics, including XXX classics which are mostly loops from the 70s. You can find their website by doing a simple Google search.
I'm a fan of SWV and thought about mentioning streaming to them but then I noticed they were offering tv Pay Per View content and thought they were probably gonna see how that works before diving into anything new. I would buy more movies from them if it were easier, faster and cheaper to get their movies. The biggest turnoff with them for me is the postage and long wait to get the movies. I figure more and more companies will start streaming over the next couple of years. As DVD sales go down and companies like NETFLIX's streaming become more popular due to price and ease more we'll probably much more streaming made available.
It's my understanding that "Netflix" is starting to stream old tv shows instead of movies in light of the fact of "Redbox"+ the blockbuster version of such have the new releases. People are bailing on "Netflix"

There is talk that Microsoft may take them over. The major problem they are having is all this licensing bullshit. I asked them why they made titles available before but I can no longer find them to view and they told me it is sometimes difficult to get the licensing. It is the similar nonsense that is going on with Time Warner and MSG network here in NY, everyone is out to rip each other off as much as they can and in the end the public gets screwed.
When NETFLIX split their streaming and DVD rentals into two separate services and raised the prices a few months ago a lot of people were annoyed and dropped the service but most of them simply dropped one part of the service and kept the other. Last I heard NETFLIX was doing fine despite some people cancelling their service. Realistically, with REDBOX and cable companies offering new releases it really doesn't make sense to rent new movies from NETFLIX or BLOCKBUSTER. I just joined NETFLIX streaming a few months ago and I could care less about new releases. The totally awsome thing about NETFLIX is all the tv series/seasons of cool shows they have that you can't see anywhere else at this time. They also still have plenty of non-big name movies that are pretty good. Plus the price for the service is super-low. A lot of people were angry at the price increase but it's still ridiculously cheap considering all the movies, tv shows, documentaries you get for that price.

I second that. I've gone through just about all the Magnum P.I. episodes from the 80s and Kolchak The Night Stalker from the 70s. The best thing is I don't have to put up with all the bullshit commercials on television. I can't even watch a live sports game anymore or a news channel without being bombarded with commercials every few minutes.

I had SCORE TV for a couple of months and had no problems at all. The main rsasons I didn't keep it longer was because I only had an interest in watching a few of the big boob movies they had on the site and no interest in the other catagories they had. That, plus they just weren't adding new movies as often as I would've liked. After I watched the stuff I was interested in there wasn't enough new content (or content I wanted to watch) coming in to justify me keeping the service any longer. If they had more big boob movies appearing at a faster pace I'd actually sign up again for at least few months. I'll probably sign up again at some point once they build up a stash of movies I want to see. I'm still not crazy about not being able to cancel your subscription online but calling to cancel wasn't that big a deal and only took a couple of minutes.

Do you know if Videobox is still a good choice? I tried signing up for the Videobox free one week trial and they never responded (yes I checked my junk mail folder). I also tried to sign up for a monthly membership after waiting all day for them to get back to me, and I received an appache error saying something about the web site not existing. I think when these sites work, they offer a valuable service. I hope Videobox can fix its glitches and stays around. I signed up with FYRETV and HOTFLIX two months ago and haven't had a single problem with either site to date. I wanted to compare Videobox with FYRETV for value. Thanks for starting this thread. Very helpful.
I've never heard of HOTFLIX so I have no opinion. I've actually signed up for FYRETV but I haven't bought/rented/watched a movie from them yet. Reading about FYRETV on this site is what prompted me to try online/streaming sites in the first place. I never had an interest until they mentioned the abilty to stream to my tv insead of watching on a computer screen. My opinion is FYRETV is great if you want newer releases and/or if you're into certain studios. Value wise I'd say VIDEOBOX offers more for the money in terms of the number of movies. They don't have some of the current studios but have most of the biggest studios from the history of porn. The list of the studios they do have is much much bigger than the list they don't have. If you like being able to pay one month fee and have access to 100s of studios, 1000s of studios, all sorts of niches/genres of porn then VIDEOBOX is a great value. You can also upgrade and get EVIL ANGEL, REALITY KINGS, VIVID, and KINK for extra per month. I have EVIL ANGEL and I think it's worth the extra money. They have over 500 titles that range from fairly new stuff to older hard to get stuff. I'd say just go ahead and sign up and give them a try. You can easily cancel on their site if you don't like it and you'll still get the entire month you paid for. I'm pretty sure you'll like it or at least think think it's a great deal. I personally haven't seen any site that comes close in terms of selection/value.
Porn on Roku is still in its infant stages, to say the least. Keeping my fingers crossed that Roku and other similar devices will destroy Cable TV by the next decade.
^Streaming porn is fairly big already but the problem is that the ones that enable you to stream to your tv are picking different devices. A few stream through ROKU, some through PLAYSTATION, some X-BOX, some through devices I've never heard of before. With more and more companies coming out with streaming devices for your tv and even tvs having them built in unless there's a way for a streaming site to do something where they can do a one way fits all type of thing most of them are going to choose one device and that will probably be it. AEBN has some very hard to find movies/scenes I want to purchase/stream but they don't stream through ROKU. As far as ROKU putting the squeeze on cable, they're pretty much almost there already. Free sports, news, classic movies, music, specialty stuff. NETFLIX suppies thousands of movies, tv series, documentaries, anime, etc...HBO-GO supplies nearly ever series HBO ever aired plus movies a bunch of movies, documentaries, stand-up, specials, and softcore stuff (but you have to be a subscriber to get HBO-GO). If you want current tv shows they have HULU. Most people subscribe to NETFLIX and HULU for under less than 10 bucks a piece and that covers most of their movie and tv viewing. I still have the big cable package with all the movie channels and such but I probably could watch a big chunk of the stuff I watch on ROKU if I decided to drop cable or at least downgrade to a much cheaper basic package.
^^^ I turned against the Cable monopoly in my area a few years ago when they only gave me the option of channel packages with that lousy mandatory hardware. I'm hoping online viewing devices eventually makes Cable entirely obsolete.

I'd like to take the time to mention that the SCORE channel is about the same and really hasn't gotten any better. I had hoped that after awhile they'd offer more and better movies from their library to put on their ROKU channel. Every now and then a decent one shows up but it mostly seems to be their lesser selling titles and too often (for me) aren't big boob centric. I know they have a strong library of good older titles but for whatever reason aren't really offering them up on the ROKU channel. But then SCORE in the last few years isn't putting out the sort of movies it was once known for. I was actually looking forward to resigning to the channel but it just isn't worth it for me so far.
