His directoral skills and technical aspects lately sometimes left a little to be desired but I imagine he will get some help/advice in that area from Dion and PXP/Redlight. I echo Dion's sentiment expressed in the AVN story in that I hope Sean makes a lot of money as he has paid his dues with him carrying and advancing IR porn during the darker days years ago.

Hmmm, I just thought of something. There was a pretty good selling Anabolic series focused on anal that was started by Sean Michaels was later helmed by Mike John and featured Lexington Steele. Now that all those major players are back under one roof perhaps Redlight or PXP will resuscitate probably the best IR series of all time.

But he is not very good as a director. If he's going to direct for PXP they need to have a competent cameraman on the set to make sure that camera angles, lighting, etc, are done well enough to give the editor material to work with. Most of his directing efforts to date have not been up to their standards.

I just recently saw Sean Michaels in a great foursome with Amber Rain, Velvet Rose, and Cris Taliana in "Runaway Butts #7." It was an awesome scene and Sean put forth a great effort of containing himself for these three beauties until scene's end. Then a saw him with Jewel De'Nyle in one scene and Nevaeh Ashton in another in "Asslickers #2." Again, he performed admirably. However, the production quality was so ridiculously below that of the Joey Silvera tape that it was ridiculous.

A couple of years ago when Ms. St. Claire was just starting to do anal, she did her first interracial scene with Sean Michaels in "Rocks that Ass #12." I thought it was a awesome scene and was floored by it, but RAMEers all complained about how horrible the lighting was and how washed out Taylor and Sean looked due to the horrible photography. I didn't care. However, now that I have seen not only a lot more porn but also know more about film I know just how bad most of Sean Michaels Productions videos were and are. That being said, I think it is great news that he will be working with Platinum and RedLight as a performer now. However, I hope that the quality of product that he directs is much better with Platinum than it was with SMP.

So, is this even confirmed yet?
