Julia Parton Lee Amber Lynn Marilyn Chambers Ginger Lynn Taylor St. Claire (most people don't know this, but she actually started porn in 1994/1995 and then left. She then returned in late 97/early 98 to the scene and started doing girl/girl) Chrisy Canyon (so I've heard)
I'm sure I'm missing a ton. Those are just the more high profile ones, with the exception of Lee. That girl has only actually just now returned.

Taylor actually doesn't quite fit what BSD is talking about (a girl who was around for a while and did a bunch of scenes, left and came back nastier than before), which might have lead to your confusion. In 1994/1995 Taylor started modeling and doing fetish videos. My favorite comeback girl has got to be Jeanna Fine. Each time she came back she was hungrier than the last, not too mention much more attractive. That was far and away my favorite female star of all time.
Well quite a few of my faves have returned in the last few years.
Nellie Pierce,who was much thinner than her prime,only made a handful of vids before bowing out again.
