One thread even suggested the male talent be penalized if their volume is too small. From the article below it would seem that 1/2 tsp. to 1 tablespoon is normal. (We are not speaking of Peter North here.) So how do you expect the male talent to be any different than all of you out there? Next time you have sex get out your measuring spoons. People's loads are different, but I think the general complaint is that if a guy does two scenes a day, the latter load will suffer because of the previous scene, or even examples of common complaints I've heard are male talent who have girl-friends are often blamed for getting giggy with their girlfriend too often that they don't have enough left come the scene...
