shark1 Senior Member 1219 Posts 5/04	Posted - Jul 26 2005 : 12:14PM Has anyone else seen this title yet? The Courtney Cummz/Brooklyn Night scene is amazing!! Lots of gaping and A2OGM. I picked up this title for that scene alone. But, I was wondering if anyone else had problems after the 1h50m mark in this movie, which just happens to be during this scene? The picture started pixelating, freeze-framing and skipping ahead. This happened on both of my DVD players and my DVD-ROM as well. I am guessing this is due to the layer change, but not sure. Just wondering if I just got a bad disk, or if there was a bad batch of disks before I contact XrentDVD. Topic Moved by - hardware on Jul 26 2005 [Link]

The end of chapter 26 and into the next one. All of Courtney's standing DP was ruined. At first it kicked back to the beginning of their scene. I brought it back to the point where it screwed up and ff'd until it started to move normally. It's too bad. RLD better get some quality control going. Could it be related to the new red disks? [Link]
shark1 Senior Member 1219 Posts 5/04	Posted - Jul 29 2005 : 12:26AM I dont think its the red disks. It all started with POV Pervert #5, before the red discs started. It seems as if they are using a duplicator that doesnt use high quality discs, that or there is no quality control during the mastering process. I would say its the discs since this problem appears to happen at the layer change, but everyone has the same problems at the same place in the movie so that is doubtful. RLD has always had much cheaper prices to buy their movies than most other studios, even with 2 disc sets now. Makes me wonder if quality control is suffering because of it. I am sending mine back to XRentDVD to get another to see if it has the same problems. [Link]

I received this reply today: I am aware of the problem at this time, we have ordered the new disc to replace the bad ones that were sent. 2HOT2HANDLE Member 437 Posts 11/04	Posted - Jul 30 2005 : 7:27AM Unfortunately, I experienced the same problem with those RLD DVDs: POV Pervert #5 Cumshitters Assault That Ass #6 Anal Expedition #3 Elastic Assholes #1 Teen Cum Squad #3 Sport Fucking #4 and Cum Filled Asshole Overload #2 both play fine but they make strange noises in the first 5 minutes, I hope this will be corrected soon, because I watch a lot of RLD releases. I have many RLD titles, and I dont get a chance to watch every second of every title to know if there are any problems at certain points in any other titles. Just wondering so I can go back and watch them to see if my copy is problematic so I can return it to XRent for a good copy. [Link]

I am now on my second copy of Semen Sippers 4 (didn't pay for the 2nd copy so the seller must not be aware of the problem...) I thought it was odd that both discs would crap out at the same point in the same scene so did a search here. Anyone get a good replacement copy of this film that does not have the defect? I'd love to have a clean copy as that scene is smokin...would love to see the entire scene! Peace. Wolf [Link]

If you still have a bad copy of semen sippers 4 please e mail me and i will get you new copy. Since the problem, we have made some changes with the venders that we were using and their have not been any problems. Yes Platinum X is done by the same venders. Again please e mail me if you ever have concerns or problems that you can not get handled by the retailer. Thank you and keep enjoying Red Light District. Like the other two copies that I tried, it caused PowerDVD to immediately freeze using both DVD drives on my PC. The PC is less than 1 month old Dell XPS 400 with Windows Media Edition, so I don't think that the problem that I've had with Disc 2 of Sex Pix, and only Disc 2 of Sex Pix is PC related. [Link]

I tried it in a DVD-ROM and in 4 different DVD-RW drives (all varying in age), all of which played fine. I skipped through the BTS on each, watched the trailer for Darkside on the ROM and watched the trailer for Bustful Of Dollars on my newest DVD-RW drive. I will also mention I was using WinDVD (vers. 6.0 B06.056), not PowerDVD. I never have been a fan of that prog. Presumably you are playing the DVDs in XP and with drives that are OK? I don't know.... Hopefully you get it worked out. Maybe try to download the trial vers of WinDVD and see if that helps? Edited by - PL on 11/9/2005 8:03:48 PM [Link]

The second chapter of Taryn Thomas' scene froze and kicked back to the first chapter. I'm assuming this was at the layer change. Missed the entire blowbang. [Link]

I've also had some minor problems with other RLD titles. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of spending my money on defect RLD discs.
