In it, Shane Black describes one of his characters this way: "We all heave a sigh. She is strictly to perish for." Sound like anyone we know!? Three weeks ago, I didn't know this girl existed. Currently, I'm waking up in the middle of the night thinking about her. What the hell!? 'Sensi Pearl' is the reason I registered here. This girl tugs on my freakin' heartstrings! Now looky here.... Back on the 5th of May 2011, cimfan expressed his dismay at some drug-references. He was shut down pretty quick by Kaminsky, who held that this thread is about 'Sensi' (I really want to refer to her by her real name, but no one else seems to be doing it and I don't want to transgress. Besides, we're all here under pseudonyms, right?), therefore drug references are fair play. In the spirit of that, I'd like to get my two cents in on the subject. The whole thing makes me really nervous. Sensi has stated in an interview that she credits cannabis with having saved her life. (Admin. admonishes members not to talk about performers as though they're not here, so Sensi, jump in anytime....). Well, in a terrible place and time... maybe it did. I imagine, if you're plummeting down an elevator-shaft, you'll reach out and grab the cable. But it's rusty, and greasy... and you can't get a grip... and while it may have slowed your descent, you're still headed for the friggin' basement. Another post contends Sensi "obsesses" over pot. Are we agreed obsession is dangerous? Surely, if you don't own it, it owns you. No doubt she's more knowledgeable on this subject than I am. I can't claim otherwise. But surely, in a perfect world.... I wish this girl all kinds of well. Well... it's after midnight down here in New Zealand. I just got off an eight-hour shift and I can feel myself getting spacey, so it's a snow white pillow for my big fat head. 'God' bless us all. Every one. Sensi... you're astonishing.
