The ridiculous people at xxxporntalk, including Ashley Blue, are outraged. Why? Hasn't Magic Johnson taught anyone anything? If this guy gets tested like everyone else, and uses the proper precautions, and doesnt fuck Jessica with the Teutonic Vigor of Erik Everhard more than once a week, I dont see it being significantly more risky than any other male talent. I mean seriously, if he is tested then....? If anything, having a HIV positive mate probably makes this guy more cautious than other male talent....a single male porn star who goes out and picks up a girl at a bar once every two months (or worse, a single male star who shoots drugs) are MORE of a risk... Click to expand No one said that he had been infected yet, the point is that she is. If he is still with her, then it would be rather hard to believe that they're not having sex. This would put him at a considerable risk of becoming infected. When one half of a couple who regulary have sex is infected, even with condoms the cumulative risk of the other partner becoming infected builds up to a significant one over time. A risk that he would be passing on to those he works with, and in turn to the whole industry. "Hell on Wheels", your assertion that this is no greater risk than the general population is fundamentally wrong. It's a much greater risk. The outbreak that infected Jessica already taught us that testing merely serves to help damage limitation, not to prevent outbreaks. Risks must be limited wherever possible. Sex with an infected person is a high risk. A person who is doing that should not be in the industry. I think this is a legitimate concern that ought to be out in the open. The industry needs to shit can the hypocrisy...why are genital warts and other STDS tolerated, when they lead to open sores and abrasions allowing more deadly diseases like HIV to have a better chance of spreading? The risk increases with every "chance" taken with an infected partner. Three- Even if he was careful and something happened, we wouldn't know until a month later when he had his next test. How many scenes can you do in a month? 2 a day, maybe 5 times a week if your busy? How many partners is that? How many people are being put at unnecessary elevated risk? Yes porn is a psuedo game of russian roulette, but why add a couple of bullets in the chambers? Your argument holds no weight, except that Shane Diesel deserves your respect. I'll give you that. Any time this person is hired, the production company has the duty to inform the other performers of this guys situaltion so they can make an INFORMED decision. If they keep this info form the other performers I can only imagine what the legal liability would be. How many performers would work with anybody that they knew was having sex with an HIV+ person? This person is obviously willing to put everyone and anyone at a risk level that is much higher than what is already a very hihg risk occupation. And the companies that hire him are also willing to put the perfomers at this increased risk. But hey, as long as the check clears, right?$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
