I don't like the sound of this tweet from Eva. Could she had a falling off with Greg Lansky? Jules Jordan maybe? If thats the cases, it quite sad because she was shooting excellent content with Greg. I was surprised that she wasn't signing with anybody during AVN week. IMO Eva is a huge draw, and she had a big showcases last year. I hope its not Greg Lansky.

So upon further review, I noticed Eva isn't following Greg, and Greg isn't following Eva on twitter. :(
That really pisses me off. If it's as simple as some dude on the higher up of the business getting his feelings hurt by a female performer and then that being the reason that she's not shining as much as she should in a way.
I can surely see a person's progress in their job being damaged by a bad relationship with someone important in the field, but I think claiming that AVNs are bought is one hell of a accusation.
^She isn't claiming anything that I haven't already known for a very long time and I don't think that I'm alone. This is just the reality that surrounds the AVN and XBIZ Awards. It has little to do with who the best performer/movie/scene is and almost everything to do with which company/person paid/pressured AVN/XBIZ to nominate and I'd argue make sure their pony wins. Seeing as Eva has made it pretty clear that she is no longer interested in working in the industry than does it really matter if she is nominated and wins an award. I mean I could see where being nominated and winning would be an asset to an active performer because it would be something her agent/agency could use when negotiating her fee but since Eva has already said that she is not interested in working in the porn industry than any award she gets nominated for or even wins will not be very useful.
^^ all major awards systems: Oscars, Grammys, and even the AVNs involve some sort of behind the scenes pressure and borderline bribery to boost certain names because they are heavily affiliated with certain big companies and corporations
She's made a claim (I guess in a passive way) and we can all form our opinions one way or another, however she hasn't(to my knowledge) provided specific proof of her claim. I agree that there are things the influence the winners of those awards. The people who decide who wins or who gets nominated always have motives that go beyond simply awarding the best performer. Sometimes they choose based on the safest choice, who they like the most or who the pubic will accept the most. But that's not what she said, she implied that BRIBES are happening behind the scenes, which is a heavier accusation. Also, are pornstars paid well enough to be able to pay for awards?
She's smart enough to not name names so it doesn't really matter.

I am not surprised that AVN's can be bought, and its been pretty clear over the years that this is true. If you look at the previous winners of FPOTY, they have came out of two talent agencies. Also, in 2016 Riley Reid had her Tushy showcase and won every major award that year. I will say in my opinion, Adriana Chechik should've won POTY. Last year Eva makes her Tushy showcases and didn't win NOT ONE award. And let me say this, I thought Eva showcases was better than Riley. So yeah I do believe AVN awards can be bought.

^^^ It's even simpler than that. What drives AVN/Xbiz's business? Advertising. Even though in reality some of those wins are deserved, it isn't a coincidence that their biggest advertisers (Gamma Films/Mile High, Lansky, Jules Jordan, and Wicked) have won awards without fail the last few years. Do you think the Xbiz Awards presented by Myfreecams would give cam site of the year to Chaturbate? It's not a coincidence that typically best new starlet has a showcase from one of the major advertisers coming out sometime in a three month window (forwards or afterwards) of the award shows. This isn't to say that these companies are explicitly purchasing awards, but when you think about how symbiotic to the survival of AVN advertising from these studios is, one shouldn't be surprised in the end on who wins the awards. I used to love Eva, but i'm quite disappointed about her new breasts, she definitly did not need them, her body was flawless, it's a damn shame ...
