Not that I have any problem with barefoot scenes, some of the hottest lesbian action ever, Sharon Mitchell, Erica Boyer, etc, was done barefoot, but when chicks are wearing pumps it just drives me wild with lust, and nothing is more disappointing when some douchebag director decides to let the girls take their pumps off... That might explain taking them off. However add a pair of stockings to those pumps and you'd better leave those things on!!! However I've also seen some really great lesbian scenes involving bare feet - licking and sucking toes, rubbing feet against breasts, etc. Pumps are hot but combined with thigh high stockings they're ridiculously hot :D. Again, while that may be erotic in some cases I personally prefer the more realistic approach to a G/G scene and high heels in bed for instance don't make any sense whatsoever and are just killing the scene for me from the get-go. For example, two girls in bikinis and high heels on a bed...WTF??? I'm not talking about a scene where the girls/women are "normally" clothed and having shoes on and then they don't remove it during the scene, that's a whole other story. Unfortunately, my first example has been practised by moronic directors way too often in the infamous 80's and 90's which makes a vast majority of G/G scenes from that time unwatchable. A shoe example would be the Deauxma/India Summer pairing in GFF's Road Queen 11, when India keeps her boots on the whole time, even when she has removed her clothes completely. This is not taken out of context and she really looks hot that way, naked with the boots on. But again, high heels in bed or by the pool just for the sake of it, a big no-no, because it doesn't make any sense, unless it's part of a beauty pageant. [Link]

The high heels the pornstars wore in the 70's and 80's were "normal" shoes the everyday real-world women were wearing at the time. I could be wrong, but in reality, I think most people take their shoes off while having sex in a bed, at least. Don't get me wrong I like to see them in my porn, especially those high heel sandals, but hey, as a viewer I can see them. In my personal life I can never remember giving a shit either way, as my attention is focused on other areas. Come to think of it most porn is moronic, when compared to how most people have sex.
