Like Lance said, Nikko, what are you planning to have them do? Anal scenes, as a rule, don't run cheap...correct? Figure at least $2500-3000/scene for the performers alone in your scenario thus far, give or take. I'm not in the industry at all, rather just taking some figures that have floated around in the past.

i've watched a lot of porn films where they have say ten+ people fucking all at once. add the cost of them performing anals as well and there just wasting money. sure they make there profits but would there profits have been less if they drop five people. you miss so much of the action. one good performance should make you want to watch it for the entire dvd. that's what every scene in the dvd should be like. i can only name a few that i have been that impressed with.

back in the day when every one used vhs tapes and before the internet distributing was near impossible. today you can buy dvd duplicaters for £600 in the uk that produce 100 copies in an hour. all the other parts of a dvd can be purchased cheaply too. all the technology is out there at cheap prices. you can buy mini dv cameras that shoot hd which no matter what any purist says is impossible too tell the differnce between that and 35mm film used for blockbusters. you could have download streaming from a website. there are pornstar in the uk that sell the dvds they have produce directly from there website. there are millions of websites out there not controlled by the studios they could easily sell dvds. in the early days of hollywood you had 5 studios and no one made a film unless 1 of the 5 studios produced it. film makers broke away and no any one can make a film and have it released.

vivid, vca and wicked are the main studios but there are new studios beening launch all the time. maybe in america it's all handshkes and rackeets.
