Credit card charged for correct amount on Monday, Sept 10th.

Order NOT received by Wednesday, Sept 19th, so I sent an
email to inquire about order status.

NO response to email sent, so I sent another email on
Thursday, Sept 20th.

NO response to 2nd email sent, so I called them on Monday,
Sept 24th. Phone is answered by a pleasant voice and
I explain to them that I have not received a shipping
notice by email so the order must have gotten buried
in someone's in-basket. (The shipping emails I have
received in the past just show the header, there is
no text message. They really should try to fix this.)
The pleasant voice promises to look into it and will
send me an email.

Order finally ships on Tuesday, Sept 25th.

Order received on Wednesday, Sept 26th.

I also receive their canned shipping notice by email on
Wednesday, Sept 26th.

Notes: Both DvDAdvantage and I are in the city of
Los Angeles, so 1 day for shipping is to be
expected. DVDAdvantage recently installed a
real-time inventory system to better serve their
customers. Well, that part does work, all items that
I ordered were shown as "in stock" and I received
all the items in one shipment.

It seems that DVDAdvantage still has some "back
office" fulfillment problems.

This was a very poor shopping experience!

The worst part about this situation was that I did
not even get the courtesy of a personalized email to
say that my order was finally shipped!
If a screw-up happened, so be it, we all make
mistakes from time to time, but to not even
acknowledge it worse. As a customer, I feel I have
been taken for granted! This order was for $135.00

There will be no next time, I will take my
business elsewhere!
