Scene 3 in Jim Powers' Mouth Meat 4 & Mouth Meat 6 are absolutely identical, as I recently discovered to my annoyance. WTF? This series is, as far as I'm aware, NOT marketed as being a compilation series so no way should they be reusing scenes for other volumes. Do they (the producers) not think there will be some people who buy all volumes of a series? Who the fuck do I complain to? How can they short-change their customers like that? [Link] |

In looking at MM#6 2257 dates of 1/5/05, 11/17/05, 1/24/06 and 1/15/07 for a 2007 release, I'm betting that it is a compilation (or a mixed release that also includes some previous scenes). Whenever I see 2257 dates spread over multiple years -- particularly in this type of movie -- I always suspect a compilation. Unfortunately, over the past five years or so, many companies release compilations and/or recycle scenes -- and never indicate that the DVD is a compilation in any way. And, YES, I agree you shouldn't have to be cheated in this fashion! You've already done a service to the community by calling bullshit (unfortunately at your expense). You may want to send a correction to the IAFD, so that they can note that the scene was previously released in MM#4. |

At least recently (the last 1-2 years) whenever LH has 5 "official" scenes on a DVD (meaning they put the names of these girls on the cover), they usually include one older already released scene among them. So that it's only 4 new scenes and one repeated. Examples: - "Latinas Love Caliente Creampies 5"; here the IAFD entry even mentions it explicitly: "Scene 5 is a repeated scene from Latinas Love Caliente Creampies 2." - "I'm Young Dumb and Thirsty for Cum 4": the Melanie Rios scene is a repeat from vol. 1 of the same series. Mind you: There's nothing wrong with putting only 4 new scenes plus 2 older scenes (as bonus) on a DVD. Heck, nowadays 4 scenes has become basically the norm or at least the majority, it's not like years before when 5 or 6 scenes were the usual number. But exactly because it's not wrong, you should openly say so in your ads and marketing when you do that. And not mask one older scene and hide it among the new ones. |

Previously-released scenes should be included, but as bonus scenes (and a bonus scene gives the consumer a value-driven reason to purchase a physical media DVD movie). Blowjob movies should include a minimum of 10 new scenes. This four-scene DVD movie/sticking previously-released scenes into "new" movies trend will just continue to erode the customer base of the porn purchasing consumer. |
