Anyone collect volumes of a series (that aren't supposed to be compilations) only to find the same scenes recycled? Scene 3 in Jim Powers' Mouth Meat 4 & Mouth Meat 6 are absolutely identical, as I recently discovered to my annoyance. WTF? This series is, as far as I'm aware, NOT marketed as being a compilation series so no way should they be reusing scenes for other volumes. Do they (the producers) not think there will be some people who buy all volumes of a series? Who the fuck do I complain to? How can they short-change their customers like that?

I guess you're talking about the Nicole Brazzle scene?
Mouth Meat #4
Mouth Meat #6
I notice that MM#4 has six scenes, and MM#6 has seven scenes.
In looking at MM#6 2257 dates of 1/5/05, 11/17/05, 1/24/06 and 1/15/07 for a 2007 release, I'm betting that it is a compilation (or a mixed release that also includes some previous scenes).
Whenever I see 2257 dates spread over multiple years -- particularly in this type of movie -- I always suspect a compilation.
Unfortunately, over the past five years or so, many companies release compilations and/or recycle scenes -- and never indicate that the DVD is a compilation in any way.
And, YES, I agree you shouldn't have to be cheated in this fashion!
You've already done a service to the community by calling bullshit (unfortunately at your expense).
You may want to send a correction to the IAFD, so that they can note that the scene was previously released in MM#4.

Probably doesn't make you feel any better, but it appears that Sasha Knox Scene #1 in MM#4, is repeated again as Scene #7 in MM#6.
So far, two of seven scenes in MM#6 are "re-purposed"

Lethal Hardcore does that, too.
At least recently (the last 1-2 years) whenever LH has 5 "official" scenes on a DVD (meaning they put the names of these girls on the cover), they usually include one older already released scene among them. So that it's only 4 new scenes and one repeated.
Examples:
- "Latinas Love Caliente Creampies 5"; here the IAFD entry even mentions it explicitly: "Scene 5 is a repeated scene from Latinas Love Caliente Creampies 2."
- "I'm Young Dumb and Thirsty for Cum 4": the Melanie Rios scene is a repeat from vol. 1 of the same series.
Mind you: There's nothing wrong with putting only 4 new scenes plus 2 older scenes (as bonus) on a DVD. Heck, nowadays 4 scenes has become basically the norm or at least the majority, it's not like years before when 5 or 6 scenes were the usual number.
But exactly because it's not wrong, you should openly say so in your ads and marketing when you do that. And not mask one older scene and hide it among the new ones.

I keep a list and vote with my dollars. If they do it once, even once, I'll never buy/rent from that company again.

Short-changing the remaining DVD physical media purchasing customers, by sticking them with four-scene movies and/or including previously-released scenes as part of the main feature of a "new" DVD movie, doesn't strike me as a very bright business model (if you actually want to preserve a physical media purchasing market segment).
Unless a DVD is marketed as a compilation, a new DVD movie should include a minimum of five new scenes -- as DVDs have done for a long time now. Previously-released scenes should be included, but as bonus scenes (and a bonus scene gives the consumer a value-driven reason to purchase a physical media DVD movie).
Blowjob movies should include a minimum of 10 new scenes.
This four-scene DVD movie/sticking previously-released scenes into "new" movies trend will just continue to erode the customer base of the porn purchasing consumer.

Thanks for the responses & support guys. Not sure what the reaction would be. I originally wanted MM6 FOR the Nicole Brazzle scene; had a bit of trouble tracking it down at an acceptable price and finally found it on download-to-own from Sugar DVD. I then usually burn my copy to disc, which is allowed by this site. Was only gonna buy this one title but, being a fan of the series, I decided to purchase more - that's when I discovered the replication. I wholeheartedly agree that scenes previously featured should clearly be denoted as 'bonus' scenes in later volumes. I guess what sticks in my craw is that I just wanted this one scene (Nicole Brazzle) and got burnt by buying more volumes; I shoulda just stuck with number 6. But then, how was I to know that they'd pull such a stunt? To the best of my knowledge and belief, MM was/is a series much like American Bukkake/Gokkun, Baker's Dozen, A Good Source of Iron, Massive Facials, Cum For Cover etc. etc. That is, different scenes in every volume. I shall tread with caution in future.
