well in older movies 6-12min scenes were pretty normal. Shortest new ones that i have come acrosss seem to be Private movies where many of the scenes are 15-20min long where story takes half of the time.

This is one of the reasons I prefer softcore and features. Gonzo scenes are way too long. An hour? Are you kidding me? As a huge fan of vintage porn, I know "it" can be done and be sexy, in such a shorter period of time. Say 10-15 minutes. Naughty America has introduced a new feature to their site where they edit the scene down to 5/6 minutes. I love it. Right now they have a damn good editor. They should never fire that guy. I've said this elsewhere, but length of the scene is not the only issue (though it is a large part of the issue). There are a number of long sex scenes in golden age porn, as well as golden age movies that are almost all sex with very little traditional narrative. The difference is that the sex scenes themselves are creative and narrativized. The sex says something, or does something. There are some newer porn movies that do this without truncating the scene (Moms Bang Teens, and other vignette series), but it is rare.
I always thought that I'd rather see 6-7, five to ten minute scenes vs four to five 15-20 minute scenes, then I saw Pirates. It had more shorter scenes like I'd wanted but I was still fast forwarding like normal so I wound up skipping half the sex scenes the first time through. So yeah never satisfied. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Dudes who want short sex scenes can just skip through or fast forward to the good bits of a longer sex scene. Dudes who can't even get properly aroused with less than 5 minutes are going to find such short scenes entirely useless. This reminds me of the bisexual thread a bit, it's an automatically niche thing as it excludes people in order to make more specific porn for those who already have valid porn alternatives to begin with. I think when people ask for short scenes, the unspoken request is they want tailored scenes. They want the editor/director to eliminate the "boring" stuff and keep the "hot" stuff, and condense it to a relatively short running time. The problem is that there is no universally boring nor universally hot content. I find the interminable blowjobs boring; another viewer may love watching every second of every BJ. I enjoy the opening tease sequences and they are always too brief for me; another viewer wants to get straight to naked fucking ASAP. This is why people pay $5 per minute for webcam sessions and $1 per minute for clips4sale. Because those sources offer somewhat tailored content. There next to no time for sensual build up and variety in a scene if it's so short. Why rush the pleasure you can get and be done after 10 or 15 minutes when you can make it last for 45 minutes or an hour? We don't rush sex as a means of reaching an orgasm, we do it for the journey, for the ride, for the pleasure we get throughout the experience. As the purpose of porn is to simulate our fantasies with super sexy women, it seems counter-productive to me to rush such an experience with a short scene.
I still disagree, because there's a workmanlike routine to checklist sex that's there no matter how long the checklist is; even if it's just blowjob, tittyfuck, pop, if it looks like's just knocking out an afternoon's work to get your paycheck and be home in time to watch Ellen Degeneris, it's still crap.
Most short sex scenes I could come up with are probably a good 20 years old. Gonzo scenes pretty much have to be long so 5-6 scenes will take up the whole DVD (nothing to fill). All short scenes pretty much have to be from features. Mentioned a couple in other topics that stand out: Bianca Trump and Randy West in Someone Else - 1992. Quickie beachhouse fuck - but intense. About the only films I can think of that match the OP criteria are pro-am scenes or blowjob only films. Pros are expected to hold it longer, while amateurs aren't and usually can't anyway. Still I'd start there because some can surprise sometimes. Although I generally have no problems with longer sex scenes, I do think most sex scenes are too long and should be edited down. Unfortunately a lot of porn editors have a tendency to edit-out or miss the best parts.
I know this isn't what you are looking for, but the thread reminded me of the utter garbage of Vivid's feature re-releases back in the day. They would take a film that was 2 hrs or more and cut the hell out of it, reducing many scenes to literally a couple mins. They are by far my all-time most hated company for how they completely misused their considerable talent over the years, and then bitch-slapped the consumer with their re-release abortions.
