What was the purpose of this thread again. It asks us if we think she should get her boobs done and her nose. Majority said no and she still is planning on getting her breasts done anyways. Seems like she already had her mind made up about the decision. So why not just title the thread "I'm getting my breast done" instead of asking.
At the end of the day Taryn will still be a great performer. I also agree that she should do whatever "She" wants to do. I just don't understand the draw for women to get their breast changed especially when they have good ones to begin with. To many women, especially in this industry seem to go in that direction(no offense to those women, I still luv ya.).Sometimes original, natural, untouched beauty is better IMHO.....

I second Devinn's opinion of Dr. Fisher. He did all of Jenna's surgeries during her Wicked days. (But cut her off when she started going overboard).
He's also the only plastic surgeon I will EVER go to. He is just simply amazing. He will NOT let you look like a barbie doll.
Unfortunately, because he is the doctor for Extreme Makeover, he is in HIGH demand and has a really long wait list time - almost a year. But if you tell him who you are and drop a few names, that sometimes helps.

You have to ask yourself, as many a girl has expressed it as an enhancement in self-image. Have you yourself ever felt fat, nasty, gross, man-tittied to the point where you wanted to do something about it? I know I have (not necessarily those characteristics above), and I opted to do something about it. Unfortunately, tits aren't something that grow on trees, so you can't just pick one & apply w/ rubber cement.
It's all about self esteem, and at least this kind of request was rational. There are girls, like newbie Danielle Derek...or even Ms. Howard Stern (Andrea Ownbey - non-porn),...who feel compelled to add perfection upon perfection...um, upon perfection. Those are the girls who look like clowns in the end. It often makes me wonder what they looked like BEFORE all the plastic surgery was done.
I know my esteem was starting to make me feel like a troll about 8 months ago. What'd I do about it?...got a membership to Gold's to work some of my tire off, and starting eating better. No use bitching about something (to oneself) if you aren't willing to do what's necessary to fix it. Some people just aren't comfortable being "themselves", which is fine. While it may not be broken to us, it's their self-esteem on the inside that is.
Subtle enhancements are OK by me...personally, it's the freaks who are in the surgeon's office more often than work itself that bother me.
Taryn, if you read all the previous posts here on ADT of other girls asking if they should get a boob job you should know the outcome. All I was really trying to say was everybody loves you the way you are, your fans think you are cute... that's why you shouldn't even think about this.

As indicated earlier (and referenced just now by Katja), this is usually how it goes at ADT. These threads are typically exercises in futility, but at least Taryn has decided to leave her nose alone.
There are a lot of bad boob jobs in porn right now. In fact, the thing I was struck by the most from looking at all of the AEE pictures was just how many girls in this biz have implants. Yet the pattern continues and girls who had body issues before entering the industry have their insecurities amplified by their time in the biz and thus they cave. It's an indication of large-scale societal trends, and looking at the culture we live in here in America I imagine that if I were a woman I'd probably have insecurities too since I would be surrounded by unrealistic images (real women have pores!) and expectations all the time. Fuck, just watching the Beer commercials during a football game would probably make me feel like shit.

Well, I called it. 7 pages of opposition and she's doing it anyway.
This is the plastic surgeon Taryn mentioned she would go to back in July. And she mentioned him in her last post.
I've yet to say this since her decision, but good luck Taryn and here's wishing you a safe surgery and recovery, regardless of whatever doctor you go to.
I think Taryn missunderstood Katja's post entirely but in saying that Taryn interpretation of it actually addresses the fact that she admits to being insecure about her breasts and body. All these answers give Taryn positive vibes about her body and must help her insecurity because all love the way she presently looks.
For the record I say no and no as well. I'm a big boob fan but only with women who's body would make them look in proportion. To me Taryn fits into the hot petite women category that look great without them like Courtney Cummz, Julia Bond, Gauge etc. Teagan was in that group but her new boobs dont suit her at all in my opinion.
Taryn, if you had to choose one or the other- as in breast implants vs rhinoplasty...implants need to be updated, but rhinoplasty recovery is a walk in the park and there is no maintenaince or updating needed. Dr. Hayworth, Dr. Fisher, and Dr. Frank Ryan.
Dr Corey does wonderful work, but Trish and Devinn are right about Fisher. I also reccommend Hayworth (Hillary's MD) and Dr. Rey. Whatever you decide, do not go through the nipple! Women that tan easily are more prone to scarring.
After reading a few more posts in this thread, 1 thing majority of the peoples posts have in common is the use of the words "self esteem" and "insecure". Now I'm not saying that some women in this industry don't feel insecure about themselves or don't have self esteem issues, but it seems to me that this has become the common mandatory excuse now-a-days. Now I'm not sure about the exact numbers, but I would "guess" that out of every 5 girls in this industry, at least 3 eventually get implants. Why? Who knows? Maybe peer pressure, personal image or the need to keep up with the rest of the pack. I just think the "self esteem" and "insecure" reasons are a bit.....old. Females(not all) use that excuse, so that people feel sorry for them and say "oh she's doing it to make herself feel better about her body, its okay then, yeah you should do it.", when really what they're thinking is "I have an A or B cup and everyone else is a C or D. I need to change my image so the fans or people notice me more.". Its all about image especially in this industry. Everyone wants attention.

OK, so you're using self-esteem as an "excuse" now, Doc? I don't get it. Maybe an "insecurity" as a result of self-image (as opposed to self-esteem), but none of those are "excuses" as you relate to them.
Some people aren't as self-centered, and are alot more self-conscieous about themselves then you think...and THAT could develop from any root in their lives (even outside of porn) where they didn't feel adequate as compared to their peers.

I think Dr. Nasty has a point here. I've been laughed at for lacking penis size more than once which wasn't too funny, but I got really insecure about it all when I read stuff like: "Don't worry, most guys out there are lying anyway; average size is 6 inches only". Well, thank you. According to that statement I should get a dick job immediately. But there's no way I'd even consider such a thing if it were possible; or maybe it is possible, I so don't care. I stick to what nature gave me even though I'm not happy with it. Sorry E, but those are excuses. Point in case, I could say "oh I'm going to get my penis enlarged (or something like that) to help my self esteem, because I think I'm too small. When truth-fully what I am thinking is I want to get my cock enlarged, because there are guys bigger then me.". You see what I'm getting at. I have a different trivial motive behind the reasoning. And because I know its trivial, I use the terms "insecure" and "self esteem" as a cover for the real reason. Its a convenient excuse.
BTW - The beginning of your second paragraph makes it seem like I am saying everyone is in that group. I know that all people are not self centered. I am also aware of the fact that people are self conscious and they should be. Hence me saying in my first statement that some women (not all) use this as an excuse.

Alas, we lost another one. I've learned that there really isn't anything we can say to change a girl's mind if she really wants them. I really, really hope that you get lucky and have something like Juli Ashton got, but I fear that won't be the case.
Man couldn't have said that better myself. BTW, Terri is one of the few women whose breast turned out quite nicely after implants. They still have a natural look to them.
