Last night I was using ADT to help ID models on Exploited College Girls and BRCC. For those who know those sites, they use first names only, and I like to find a last name too, if one exists, as it helps me better catalogue the scene and helps to find more of a model I like. One of the ways I do that is to use the search function in ADT. I set it up to search the thread titles in the Star Crossed forum for a set period of time, I enter the first name and I'll often get a hit. The best confirmation is seeing a photo that matches the model I'm looking for.

This is something I notice regularly here, but last night it was especially apparent: for any number of reasons, posts on X (Twitter) can be deleted and that makes the post here essentially useless. If the linked Tweet is no longer available, the post here reads "[Tweet is no longer available]."

There are a lot of instances where that deleted tweet message is preceded by something like "Check out this new hot babe!" or "This is some interesting information!" And with the deleted Tweet having contained the picture or the information, those are lost. I've seen entire star threads that are nothing but deleted Tweets. All the photos and information are gone.

I admit that any link posted in a post can disappear. An IAFD link might change and be rendered useless. A model who has left the business will no longer have a page with an agency, so any link there will be dead, but Twitter links seems to be especially fleeting.

I recall talk by the MODs of dropping Twitter links a couple of years ago, but is it time to reconsider that? Or maybe as members we just need to put in a little more effort in posts. Instead of a Twitter link, just state what it says: "Good news! Model Y says that she's just shot her first mainstream anal scene for Tushy!" That information will live on forever in the thread. A Tweet could be deleted within hours with the information gone too.

I realize that not every ADT member is like me. I collect porn as much as I watch it, and ADT is a valuable source of information - both current and historical.
