If a rape fantasy scene is portrayed in porn, and it is performed by consensual adults, there should be no plausible reason to ban it.
Porn is intended for viewing by adults and we all know the difference between reality and fantasy.
Some may argue that it is an imitable act and those of a sensitive disposition may act upon it. The fact is, ALL acts are imitable and those people who have psychotic tendencies will act upon ANY stimuli.
The human mind is the ultimate tool of depravity, (not fantasy scenes in porn).
well they reason why I ask since rape is a touchey subject and rape fantasy scene can be desterbing. extreme rought sex is great but rape fantasy scene do raise some questions and eye brows.
I for one don't mind a little playful act of pining a girl down and fuck her like crazy but isn't there a find line between rought sex and rape fnatasy.
I say that if a consenting adult wants to film ANY kind of sex scene with other consenting adults, so be it! As long as all the participants are of legal age, they should be free to engage in any kind of sexual behaviour and film it if they wish to - but unfortunately thats not the case in the US or many other parts of the world and there are many laws banning certain acts or behaviours, sad to say...
yeath I know that fisting in porn is forbiden in the U.S.
well I have not problem with rape fantasy scene if the both consenting adults have no objection to it. I like scene involve some rought action in porn. the usual shit gets boring after awhile especialy lesbians I just love intense action involving lesbians. the good girl sex action is find but a little bit roughtness make things a bit more interesting.
opps sorry I been know to have shitty grammer and lousy spelling. cause I think and type at the same time. I have a habit of not checking my shit before I submit.
I am not sure how much of an issue this is given that all such scenes should be between consenting adults anyway, even if some movies don't appear to be that way.
There are two ways of using this kind of scene (and I am not sure I would describe it as fantasy, BTW): as titillation or to further a storyline. One recent movie I had a problem with was Hey Babe...Nice Tits! where an admittedly small and relatively inexplicit rape scene is used in an otherwise titillating movie, the rape theme being totally out of context. If you have to use it, it would be better to be truly justified by the story you are telling rather than being purely for titillation. British censors have a problem with any kind of violence being in a porn film at all, they seem to think violence may be considered titillating merely by its presence in an adult movie. In the case of rape, it is hard to see how it can be considered as anything OTHER than titillation unless it is part of a strong storyline where it is dramatically justified.
Personally, I'd rather producers kept it out of porn. But as to the question: banned? No. I am never in favour of censorship.
It's just my opinion, but I say no. Personally, rape turns me off faster than just about anything, but it's fantasy. It's made up and I think it's dangerous to go down that road. (Before anyone gives me the reasons why it 'should' be banned, I see your side as well.)
There are lots of things I don't want to see in a porn, rape, murder, internal cumshots, gapes, spitting, Ed Powers....but none of them should be banned, IMO.
They have done those kinds of scenes for a long time. I know Patrick Collins shot a few of them for Sodomania. There was one where Nici Sterling hires a guy to come in and "rape" her and in the end, we find out that it was the wrong guy.
It's a fine line. All "rape" in porn is fantasy unless someone is out there shooting scenes of actual rape. Those should obviously be illegal because the act is illegal. (Just as snuff films should remain illegal or kiddie porn.)
A lot of people draw the line at rape. S&M or even rough sex may be fine, but rape is not. There are a million good reasons for this, but I'll stick with my more libertarian views and say that anything between consenting, adult human beings should be allowed. (Unless it's the new Armageddon movie Fossil Fuckers. I may abandon my beliefs and start a movement to ban this one.) :-)
I personally don't care for the idea of forced sex in any way. But do I feel it should be banned, never. If you don't like something you have the choice to not watch. I try not to judge people on their likes or dislikes. So if someone was into this, than who am I to tell them that they are wrong.
It's just that I have the choice to watch or not watch, as does everyone else.
the reason why I brought this issure up is because I lesbians flicks. I have not seen any rought sex films with lesbians. I find lesbians getting aggressive in bed interesting. simulated rape is fine as long both partners are ok with with some bit understand what pushing it or what not. playing rought can get out of hand and that is why I was asking weather or not if fantasy rape or simulated rape if you like to call it be concider too extreme or not. anyway I believe you have answers my questions. thanks

It seems like we all agree. [:D)] Even though some like it and some don't, it seems everyone so far doesn't believe in the act of censorship.
I have seen some fantasy rape scenes done really well. My tastes in porn have gone so far beyond what some people consider normal that I usually can't find my viewing fare on the porn store shelves anymore. Luckily, I have a friend who keeps me well in stock with smothering, face-sitting, S/M, and yes, simulated rape videos.
I guess what I really like about simulated rape scenes is that I know that despite everything, the girl is actually the one in power. Within the porn set, the girl is the one who says when the fucking needs to stop for awhile if need be. (At least for any decent directors.)
I think there's even less of a problem with the specific type of scene that Hooligan is talking about - the scene where it's part of the scene that the girl starts out in control and asks someone to pretend to rape her.
So even though this is something I like anyway, I would like to say that even if it wasn't, I wouldn't want to see it banned. I have a lot of confidence in the American public, and eventually, the stuff that's crap will die out, because companies can only afford to lose money for so long.
Just to let people know, though, in trawling at /EroDVD, they have some new DVDs in the French Extreme section that are relevant to this thread, including incest.
First, I don't think a scene between consenting adults depicting legal (definitely a grey area) sexual acts should be disallowed or censored and that includes fantasy rape scenes. I personally would enjoy root canal work more than such a scene, but that's beside the point. To each his or her own. BTW, I do think truly violent porn, like the rough sex series where the poor girls are genuinely getting smacked around, should be swept out of the industry, if for no other reason because it'll bring the government down on the industry much quicker than anything slightly taboo but harmless like fisting.
Second, and I'm not a psychologist so I might but utterly incorrect here, but I think stuff like fantasy rape and teeny bopper vids (with legal age girls) and consensual S&M vids serve a purpose in providing an outlet for people with real urges in those areas. Maybe I'm wrong but it occurs to me that if someone can satisfy their urge to experience some of the things I mentioned by going out and picking up a video depicting it, maybe that person can get his/her ya ya's out with the vid and not violate some underage girl or force a girl to do something against her will. I'm proceeding from the psychological theory that people are mentally hardwired a certain way during the early years of their development and that a person seeing a teeny bopper film won't suddenly want to go out and start picking up 15 year olds if the urge wasn't there to begin with. I'm also talking about people battling with their conscience, not people that have no regard for the consequences of their actions. I don't think being able to vicariously experience their illicit fantasy would do that latter type of person any good at all as he or she will act on their urges, no matter what. What I'm saying is that in the long run, the availability of such videos might be a benefit to society in some small way.
