Showtime are airing Love, Marriage, and Other Bad Ideas. Very cool for NS.
Edited to add: technically, it's not the same film as it's obviously softcore. But still exciting! (Also, they changed the title a bit...weird, and very telling re: mainstream vs. porn...)

^That's weird they changed the name of the movie. That made no sense at all. Ironically, the original title sounds more mainstream. And I don't think making the movie softcore would really change it. After all, the plot would be the same.

^ Yep. That's what I meant about how telling it is. The mainstream perception of porn as vulgar and obvious is often just that: a perception, a construction. As a result, they must change the too-mainstream sounding title to one that says SEX! Lol. It reminds me of whenever a porn star makes the news for whatever reason, and they list the movie titles they have done. Inevitably, the titles will not be mainstream sounding even if they have done many features or gonzo with cool titles. So, for example, when Stormy was planning on running for governor of Louisiana, the media did not say she had been in films such as What's a Girl Gotta Do? or even Sleeping Around but rather, Cum Guzzlers 4 or some other ridiculous porny sounding compilation they found on imdb. The mainstream creates our idea of porn as much as porn does.

Blech...more Xander Corvus.
Anyway, I'd quite like to see the soft cuts of these. I wonder if they're better integrated? Considering how well written and acted the Romance Series has been, I think it would be great for them to cut 'light sex' editions in which the action is still hardcore but the scenes go on for 5 min max.

It's really sad that people would see movies like "Love, Marriage, And Other Bad Ideas" as vulgar rather than see it for what it really is. I would imagine it's a movie that could attract a wider audience if it was given a chance.
