Isn't Asst. Deputy Sheriff Haidl(or whatever his title is) the same guy who was in the news alot last year for having officers protect his son after a drug or alcohol bust...the same son who was later tried for gangrape of a minor?
Articles like this always start with how polite a guy is, as if that makes their actions more shoking. As if it is so out of the realm of possibility that a less refined (outwardly) person might actually be a better person.
Now he (Carona)wants to say He didn't know anything about it.
At first I thought they were talking about Jaramillo.
It's funny how everything start making sense or no sense. Haidl is a millionare Car dealer who fund the campaings.
