And Lee O, it may be funny to know that what you call "the full breasted Italian of the species", even has an entry in the BFI (British Film Institute) "Encyclopedia of European Cinema". Apparently the Italian term is "maggiorate fisiche" (literally "physically ample endowed"). It is real funny to read how the guys (and gals) of the BFI 'deconstruct' a very peculiar kind of "divismo" ("stardom") by analyzing what they call the "discourse of the maggiorate fisiche". I have many question about this, but surely, you will agree with me that the following one is by far the most important one: when confronted by the "maggiorate fisiche", why would you analyze the discourse, when there are so many other, more attractive possibilities to explore

I know it's not entirely in the same category , but I've developed an appreciation for Sabrina Ferilli ( sort of a stay at home Sophia Loren I guess , though without the career justifying Oscar ) - a woman not averse to kittage removal ( if it's justified artistically of course ! ) . So far I've only seen a few of her flicks , but she doesn't disappoint : what a fine woman !

La chiave/The Key is something I may look into , now that you've mentioned it , although I'm also interested in seeing something a little more recent .
