Once a Jill Kelly Productions contract exclusive and once the wife of company CEO, Bob Friedland, adult video actress Shyla Stylez is now suing him and the company for $4 million, according to a source close to the company. Both Friedland and Stylez have been to court recently to settle the divorce of their marriage, for which it is now revealed that there was no prenuptial agreement. In recent weeks, it has gotten ugly. Jill Kelly herself was subpoenaed and brought into court just weeks ago and was fuming by day’s end.
Spectators say Stylez is suing on the grounds that, as Friedland’s wife, she is entitled to a portion of what he owns, especially since she is bound legally to his company, which prohibits her from continuing her career as an adult performer as she no longer feels comfortable as part of the JKP family.
When contacted, Jill Kelly could only say that her company’s lawyers have advised her against commenting at this time. Shyla Stylez was unreachable.

Uh, I dunno. Let's say she gets the $4 million (what was Bob thinking, no prenup?) Do you really think she'll be taking 2 johnson's in her rear on camera anymore?
Her whole deal with the JKP hookup and the marriage seemed a little dubious -- even more so now. Do you sense some gold-digging going on here? I've never seen a JKP movie, maybe they are OK for what they are, but I kind of wonder where Shyla's really really at -- she was an amazing porn star, and seemd to have it all locked up, so ... I'd love to know the REAL story. Feel bad for the dude, though. Damn!

outkastfan, the thing about shyla is that she gives every indication she is a total and utter slut. i don't think its too far fetched to think even if she gets a large payout, she'll recognize her duty as a porn-philanthropist and come back to take multiple dicks in that incredible ass.
Well, it is just speculation on both people's part, so there is no need for you and I to get into a "no she won't" "yes she will" arguement. My personal opinion, is that she may be a huge slut, and may like 5 dicks in her at one time... That being said, she probably won't have any incentive to do it on camera anymore. I know we'd all like to belive that porno-chicks are in it cause they love the sex, but I think they're on film because they love the money.
Stylez is one of the best performers I have seen in recent years, and I can't wait to see her in some new stuff. I'm surprised that JKP and Stylez have not come to some kind of a settlement already. However divorce can get rea messy and it sounds like this one is turning into a "war of the roses" type deal where reason flies out the window. She should get a huge chunk of the guy's money, gold digger or not, its the law, if he was stupid enough to marry her without a pre-nup at his age he deserves to get screwed.

If it's an annulment than she gets nothing though. It is as if the marriage never took place.

Speaking of her movies, I guess Friedland never saw her in The Damned, where she played a very convincing con woman. A totally beleivable performance. Almost as if she was in training for the real thing.
Friedland looks like the kind of guy who makes telemarketers and golddiggers salivate. An elderly gent with glasses and a kind of doddering appearance. There's a pic of him talking to Haven at some awards dealibob, and he looks helpless and overmatched in even her presence. So Shyla must have picked up on that and zeroed in on him something fierce.
I find it easier to believe that Miss Jenna Haze is being a little catty (not to mention protective of the JKP family) than to believe that Shyla is out on the street.
It would be nice if someone that knows her could provide an update. If it is true that she's out hooking, or even escorting, I'm surprised she isn't back making movies for someone. I understand that JKP owns her contract, but if the situation has deteriorated to the point where they don't want to shoot her anymore (my assumption) and she doesn't want to work for them either, doesn't that in effect break the contract? I'm assuming at this point that JKP would just as soon leave the whole episode behind them and move on, but then again, maybe they're being real hard asses about it. Still, it seems like if she got herself a lawyer to negotiate for her, that it could not possibly be that big of a deal to get out of the contract at this point. But, of course, that also probably requires her thinking beyond her next fix, which may not be possible at this point either.
I'd love to meet up with Shyla and get the full report, among other things, but doubt I'm gonna wanna spend a grand (or whatever) for the privilege. Nonetheless, there you have it.
