Are there any chemical reactions or can I use rubbing alocohol to try and clean silicone lube off of something.

No, the alcohol won't interact with the lube. The best substance to remove silicone lube from surfaces is Formula 409, followed by whatever you want to use to get the 409 off. Don't ever use silicone lube on silicone (jelly) toys. It'll degrade them and destroy your investment.
