I'm sure that the store's lists of no-ship zones will be increasing rapidly in the next few weeks. Most responsible studios, brick n mortar retailers and etailers are carefully reviewing their product offerings and sales/shipping policies. Don't be surprised if you see some stores make significant changes very soon.

I've heard rumors of studios recalling many titles due to content that might be misconstrued as obscene by the upcoming political regime. We're investingating these claims and will be working with the stores represented on ADT to accurately reflect their product offerings and keep everyone informed of any policy changes.

We will be adding an "I'm Old Enough and Love Porn on DVD" entrance page to ADT and Gay DVD Review. Unfortunately, it's become a necessary evil.

I asked DVD Advantage if there was anything I could do to make them more comfortable doing business with me, but as it turns out, there is no compromise on the situation. If any store representitives are out there reading this, I'd be interested to know what the exact nature of their concerns are and what can be done--short of new legislation--to make them more comfortable.

In any case, I hope someone tells us what dvd's will be taken off the market beforehand so that we can pick up a few copies without waiting for the year or two it'll take everyone for the hysteria to die down and start selling "risky" dvd's again. I wonder how much of this current fear is just marketing hype and how much is actual fear of the feds...
