Clues for if a site's videos are DRM:
1. They will clearly state it is DRM
2. They will specify that Windows Media Player is a strict requirement for playing their videos.
As far as quality, it depends on how they encoded the WMV files.
They can encode in low quality or high quality or in-between quality, depending
on various factors such as the quality of source material and the desired file sizes.
The higher the quality, the larger the file size. The larger the filesize, the higher the
storage/uploading/downloading costs. So it is to their cost advantage to have smaller filesizes
and therefore lower quality video. The only way for you to be sure about quality is to try it,
unless they indicate such details on their website, regarding video resolution and bitrate and etc.
