I've noticed that Damiano's Skin Flicks has finally arrived on DVD courtesy of Gourmet video (I actually thought this was a VCA title?). Has anyone seen this yet? Flash?

Gourmet tends to release sub-par quality DVDs, taken off old tapes.
Skin Flicks was never out on VCA, only AVC.
Haven't seen the new DVD but it's probably not wort the investment. Great movie though.
Also, since the film has a rape scene, it may be cut.

Calling Gourmet sub-par quality is being nice to them. I have some of their releases that are essentially unwatchable. I haven't seen this one but based on the quality of what I do have I'm not too eager to pick up more.

Skin Flicks is an underrated Damiano, I would only pick up the Gourmet if you're desperate to see it, or go with VOD.

Another great classic that deserves special attention,a very underrated Damiano classic that needs to be re-mastered.

Skin Flicks was a great Damiano film that you could also use as an example that there was sometimes a serious attempt at acting, drama etc! The rape scene is very good indeed (in a believable but non-sick way!) Probably the best performance (acting wise!) from Sharon Mitchell (before losing it on the drugs!) and Jamie Gillis (except Jamie just had so many damm fine performances!)
I haven't seen this re-releases to see if it's been cut etc. I have a superb original print from Betamax master on Videorama label that came from Denmark all those years ago (old git!) The print quality is so good I used to play it to show off my Betamax machine in those days along with Diane,Esctasy & Me (another Sharon Mitchell) Health Spa (not a great film just crystal sharp quality) It's nice to have them totally uncut as are all my others from that time! DAMIANO STILL ROCKS!

Agreed on Mitchel's acting. She was underrated as an actress then but sadly lost it all when she became addicted.
Agreed though, her performance here is powerful.
