It took a few days, but eventually I caught up with Ariana Jollee this summer, during a week-long visit to Los Angeles. I can't remember exactly the first skinflick I saw her in, but it was probably something from Anabolic, upon whose webpage she made many memorable appearances during her first few months in the adult business. In person, she generates a kind of charisma that would probably make her successful in anything she chose to do. So it was fitting that, after several fruitless phone calls to studios and a couple of jaunts to Porn Valley, I finally encountered the ADT favorite at Boogie Nights 3.0, home of her onetime "husband," Chico "Wanker" "Voltron" Wang. She rolled up in her silver-gray two-door Mercedes, a knockout with her (then)-new hairdo (black hair with bangs, Bettie Page a-go-go) and miniskirt that scarcely began to conceal her bare pussy. (She flashed, gleefully). She was en route to tape her show for the Playboy Channel, but stuck around long enough to make plans for an interview, a couple of days later at the Anabolic/Diabolic headquarters in nearby Chatsworth.
After a thorough interrogation by the receptionist, who seemed convinced that I was some kind of stalker, I was allowed to sit and wait for Ariana, who was running behind. Porn Star Time, they call it. But, heck, she was only about 10 minutes late, which puts her a full hour-and-a-half ahead of such luminaries as Snoop Dogg (drop an email about that one, a day I'll NEVER forget). Everyone all friendly now that I had the Ariana seal-of-approval, we chatted as she had makeup done for a scene in an upcoming volume of "Up Your Ass." Present were the receptionist/office manager, the makeup artist (a tall, skinny, gay Asian dude), and the pit-bull pup Stogie. At various moments, a guy named Fred (who I later learned was Mandingo), a stockroom dude and Su (Buffy Malibu), the director, passed through. In the limited time we had, Ariana talked about making her first film as a director ("The Narcassist"), her pre-porn adventures as a hormonally propelled teenager, and the dangers of fan recognition while having vigorous sex in convenience store parking lots in the middle of the night in the less-glamourous precincts of the City of Angels. The conversation took place before this native Long Islander took part in her "65 Guy Cream Pie," so there was no discussion of that controversy. Ariana talks really fast, her syllables rushing excitedly, not unlike a precocious child who has just begin to figure something out and can't wait to tell you all about it.

A great interview with a great porn star, Ariana Jollee. Thanks, she's an amazingly cool girl. I thought it was hilarious that after I spent days looking for her, she found me . With a little help from a mutual friend. There was, in fact, a "Summit Meeting" with Ariana, Melissa Lauren and Katin that lasted for a few minutes -- the Minion was there, too. I became afraid and scrammed!
