Most agents just want to find talent, shop them to producers and directors, get them hired and collect their 20%. Very few seem to be able to really groom and guide careers. It's pure numbers, luck and commodification. There are some (perhaps Spiegler Girls??) that do seem to care about their talent and move their careers in the right direction. Models can (and often do) their own research, but it's hard to get all of the information you need to make the right choices.   [Link] |
