I think this might be the 1st film that he has put out that might actually be worth while. All 1 on 1 scenes with what seemed to be little to no disrespectful themes either way. WOW! If he could do a lot more of this and a lot less of the stuff he's been doing he might rise to the level of the other Evil Angel directors.

You're trying to gauge his directorial talents based on how many one-on-one scenes he includes? The theme? His cast? Gimme a break and please_go_away. You can't compare Slayer's flicks to someone like Christoph Clark, Jonni Darkko, Jules Jordan, John Leslie or Joey Silvera. It's apples and oranges. Night and day. I guess the only thing I'd have to say that's en pointe as to Justin's latest flick is that after watching the trailers & listening to you guys fall all over yourself over Mika's latest addition to her very calculated & theatrical arsenal of mannerisms (pillow, sheet, knee, scenery chewing) is that ... you guys are just a little too easy. The review of "Big Booty White Girls 2" is up on the review board. I took Slayer to task on a couple of things that I didn't care for, but overall the flick was a winner. Really dug "Mami Culo Grande" and "Phatty Girls 5" , and "Black Orientations" looks like it's going to be pretty good.

2. Ha ha ha. dac I thought you knew me better than that. I'm eager to see the movie, sure, that much I can't deny. But you should be able to seperate my obvious histrionics from my genuine, true, deep-down feelings.

I've seen more than my fair share of Mika Tan (including the stellar scene that Skronker mentioned in your "Banana Cream Pie 3" ; one I considered to be one of, if not THE BEST of her scenes last year). I'm more familiar than you'd like to think with true "professionals" like Mika, Lauren Phoenix, Alexis Amore, Jewel De'Nyle, Katrina Kraven, etc. to be fooled that easily by a 'lil pillow biting. Geez, give me SOME credit, David.

"Acting" or not, it's about what works for the fans and I don't have a problem with Mika's "calculated mannerisms"; at least she cares enough about who's watching to do it.

You and I will have that long drawn out discussion on how IR can be done well in "my opinion only" of course. I didn't get into detail in this thread because my intent was not to get this thread into that discussion. I simply wanted to compliment Justin & Nevaquit on a great trailer of what appears to be a well done film. The extra lead up I put on it was to simply add to my compliment. I thought the contrast of not being a "Yes Fan" and saying this trailer was very good would be taken much better than it was. I will say it appears Nevaquit took it as I suspected. I think he sees my intent was to say "I'm not the type to say everything Justin(or Van Styles etc. etc.) puts out is golden". If I think something is poorly done I will say it in the most respectful way I can. At the same time if I say something good it's clear it's not BS.

If I just simply said "Wow, Great Trailer". Nothing positive comes from that for Justin & Nevaquit. CJ & BSd have that "Yes Fan" bandwagon rolling along quite nicely, BUT if somebody who doesn't know my past dislike of Justin's stuff reads my post they may think "damn, if this guy isn't Justin's biggest fan and he says it looks really good maybe I should give it a look".

I wish people wouldn't put a negative motive on my posts before finding out my real motives. A LOT of the preconceptions people have of me are so far from true it's scary, BUT with certain people waiting on my every post to put their BS'd 2 cents in I can't blame people like CJ & Skronker for joining in.

Since Nevaquit has wisely stayed out of this brouhaha, you don't know what he thinks. However, you have ample evidence of what everybody else thinks, so that might constitute a clue. And before you come back at me about how Nevaquit's a man and wouldn't take an insult lying down, or whatever, he's a businessman. He's here to promote his product and not to get into fights.

Finally, if you had simply said "'I'm not the type to say everything Justin puts out is golden' but I really liked this new trailer," the first time, then we wouldn't be having this discussion. That's what I mean by saying you need to improve your communication skills. Unless, of course, CJ is right.

I guess AC just rubs a bunch of you guys the wrong way. Me, I can think of a lot of regular posters here whose opinions I happen to personally find terribly offensive in what they imply or outright say about what makes good porn. But I shrug & accept them as part of the landscape, & disagree when I think it's appropriate.

BTW, on the Mika issue, without offering her any disrespect, because she is indeed an extraordinarily professional & easy to get along with performer, the reason I DON'T shoot her very much is because to my taste she's too much the actress, & that's kinda anthetical to what interests me about making porn.

Which, I understand & accept, is why my gonzo work isn't as accessible or popular as that of a lot of directors, or satisfying to a mass audience. While I can't say that I didn't enjoy shooting that BCP scene from a technical point of view (she & Surewood are great porn actors), I was pretty disengaged by the process, & it was at best a fun exercise in working with natural light & dynamic angles. As opposed to, say, the Kris Taliana scene in K-POP, or the Asia/Marcus scene in SUPER IDOLS 2, where I was excited because I felt as if I being offered the opportunity to capture & offer a real portrait of the people involved through their sexual interaction.

The irony here is that in that sense my loyal opposition Chico and I are actually a lot closer in intention in our mutual work than to most traditional so-called gonzo directors -- we just disagree on the means & what the end message we're looking to convey is. And yes, there IS a message in all porn, whether its makers are conscious of sending it or not. I'm one of those overeducated, pointy-headed deconstructionist types who insist that it is so, so indeed it must be! LOL

I think I'll make a point of dropping by the ADT party at the Expo next year. After I drop several hits of acid, so that I insist on giving you all a big Fat Director group hug.

BTW, I do think the wise inclusion of less-seen girls like Mila & Mia is what will make this title stand out. It pays to sit on scenes until the right time to release them & not just play follow-the-leader like too many other directors (not being discussed in this thread) tend to do.

Who's hotter, Avena or Nautica? Both are all natural beauties with the exception of Avena's contacts. Both have ample natural busom for Asian performers. I find them way hotter than Mika Tan or the new pumped up Lucy Lee. Both have great asses and do a hell of a job working them. Nautica has the better tan naturally. When I added my comments about Black ORIENTations to this thread, I was speaking merely on the cast and the TRAILER, nothing more. I'm not gonna attempt to pick apart the man's directorial style, motives and the direction of his professional future based on a two-minute clip like some people. I talked about what I saw, not what I THOUGHT I WAS GOING to see. There's a difference.
