So the other day the thumbnails for my MP4 video files started to look different then my other video file types (.avi, .wmv, .mpg). It used to be that my MP4 files had little film strips on the sides of the thumbnails just like my avi or wmv files. Now there are no little film strips to denote that it is a video file. It just looks like a picture. That would be fine with me if my avi and wmv files had changed as well but they still have the filmstrips on either side.
I guess I'm kind of anal, but it bugs me that all my video thumbnails don't look the same now. Is there a way for me to get rid of the film strips on the wmv and avi files? Or is there a way to reinstate the film strips to the MP4 files? Thanks.

Nope, VLC is the default player for all the file types.
