I fully agree with Dumblonde's comment about the exaggerated size of porn males' equipment, which only looks larger when shot with the short focal-length lenses that are ofen used for the "action" close-ups! (Short lenses give better depth-of-field, so more of the shot stays in focus -- though they're tougher to use, unless you're shooting a mirror, because the camera starts blocking the lights.) Her advice about not making comparisons is wise, indeed. Now, if we could only hold a mirror up to that as far as _females_ are concerned -- so maybe we could start seeing some more appropriately proportioned breast sizes among porndom's females! Many of the artificially large breasts these days are really getting grotesque, and people like Chloe and Stephanie Swift are proving you can be sexy as hell with just what you've got!

Also, while we're on the subject of exaggeration, does it seem to anyone else that the length of time spent "pounding" or "pistoning" in sex scenes is getting longer and longer and longer? Yeah, I know, that's what the audience is paying to see and, besides, it eats up screen time (especially when it's double- or triple-cut, so the producers can save some money). Again, things keep getting further and further distanced from reality, from what the "average guy" or "average girl" can relate to and/or hope to experience in real life. Watching some of the older, classic titles, it's my impression that there was a lot more foreplay in more variety, and less actual coital time per position before the cumshot signaled the end of the scene. In exchange, we got more and different scenes with different people and situations.

As mentioned above, the way they film the movies does make the penises look larger. Camera angels, forced perspective, especially during over the shoulder blowjobs, and the such do add to the length and girth of the penis. A good way to understand this is when you see a male actor, known for his large penis, appear in one movie to the next. A good example of this is Sean Michaels. While I am not going to write that he has a small penis by any stretch of the imagination, because he is WELL above average, if you were to watch say, Freshman Fantasies 2, you would think he is KING cock. His penis, because of the good filming, appears HUGE in that movie. During some of the blowjob shots, you have to gasp in awe. Now, in a movie like Dinner Party 2 (a good movie by the way) the way it was filmed does not lend itself to making Sean’s penis look as big. You would think they are two separate penises from the two movies. I swear it is at least 2 inches longer and much thicker in Freshman Fantasies 2. Not to take anything away from Seymore Butts, but he did not add to Sean as much as he could have with the camera.

Also important to understand is the size of the actresses they are filming with. Most of the time, they are VERY tiny in real life. Remember, the camera can make people look bigger then the really are, but when you see some of these actresses in real life, it freaks you out. Seeing an actress like Allysin Chaynes in real life, even though she is especially small even for a porn star, really makes you think about things. I swear if you saw her from the back you would think she is a little girl. Not only are most actors themselves very fit, but when it is in the hands of a 100 pound actress, it is going to look even larger. The average man has more of a belly around him, and that can make your penis look a bit smaller then if you had a washboard stomach like many porn stars. Many male actors have gained weight over time, and it appears that their penises get smaller.

In the end, it really should not matter how big the penis is, and if you are open about it, a REAL large penis, like Jack Napier's, might even turn you on, even if you are not gay. But I can not stand here and tell that it should not matter, because it obviously does, if your post was not a joke. Finally, I find the best way to judge penis size is right as the male actor is getting off. In most cases he has to jerk his penis himself to get off at the last moment. Now I do not know about male porn stars, but I am at my hardest and biggest before I get off. Look at how much of the penis on many of the actors is covered up by their hands as they get off. Take your own hand and do the same thing, and you will probably find that you are close, if not equal to some of these porn stars, and THAT will really make you feel good about yourself.
