I find that a major part of a female performer's charm can be showing some personality that shows a certain degree of intelligence, cleverness, or wit. I don't mean porn stars that claim impressive academic credentials, but that bring a sense of clever humor and interesting interactions to their scenes. A lot of these girls provided really good banter outside of sex--and were/are also great at dirty talk.

Whoa are people you think fit the mold?

I don't think its a coincidence that some of the most prominent performers from their eras showed these traits--they were not only hot, but they had the savvy to navigate and endure what can be a difficult business. Here are some girls I think fit the bill:

Jenna Haze: Superficially she came off as a ditzy flirt, but I always thought she brought a certain sense of humor and fun to what she was doing. In interviews, both while she performed and after, she comes off as thoughtful when she's not just playing up the sex kitten role. And she's spent her retirement earning a degree, so she's had the credentials to the list.

Gianna Dior: She comes off a genuinely smart and funny person in the interviews I've seen with her.

Bobbi Starr: Apparently a skilled musician outside of the business, also always capable of carrying on a good convo in her scenes and BTS segments.

Katin: Perhaps less famous than the above, she brought a good amount of charm and personality to her scenes.

They were less known and in some ways came off as "ditzy" but seemed to bring some self awareness to their scenes: Tobi Pacific and Vixen.

Sasha Grey, of course.

Ashley Fires.

Some new girls that bring more interesting thoughts to their scenes than the porn standard: Lily Lou, Dharma Jones (very new!) Jame Jett (seems inactive now), Alex Coal, Evelyn Claire (not that new I guess, and recently retired).

Anyone else?
