Am I serious? Yes and no. The scripted portions of Specs Appeal 2 are definitely done with a wink. For example, Ann Marie explains that because the brain is the biggest sex organ, rocket scientists have the equivalent of a triple D cup in their heads. If that isn't enough of a clue, then you can be fairly certain the writers aren't totally serious when they assign her an I.Q. of 155. I genuinely like Specs Appeal 2, and it has my full approval as a totally fun movie. It's just that I had to suspend a small amount of disbelief before I could really get into it.
I do truly want to see adult actresses who are closer to my age (I'm 33). I can relate to them a little bit easier, which means I get even more enjoyment out of the movie. I knew I'd be pressing my luck, though, to request female performers in their 30s, so I scaled it back to mid to late 20s. I know, I know--it's still a lost cause, most likely.
I appreciate your answer about whether smart, mature women intimidate men. I know that some men appreciate braininess in women and other men don't. It's good that there's so much variety in the world.
